On 28 October 2026, the Government announced new support to help with rising energy costs. This includes a £100 payment for households in Council Tax bands A to D. We expect the Government to give us more information about this support in the coming weeks.

More support is on the way for people experiencing rough sleeping in Coventry this winter. Coventry has been awarded over £800,000 in funding to help people sleeping rough or at risk of homelessness access safe accommodation and the support they need to rebuild their lives.
