🚀 Zed v1.20 is out!
Zed now offers an optional cursor movement animation, enabled by setting `cursor_animation.enabled` to `true`, closing a longstanding issue with 274 👍 reactions.
Thanks tiny-paris!
Something better than lat pull downs, is a simple body weight or weighted pull ups, it's more "functional" and translates better to everyday use of strength.

I love how many people are attaching to the "half-bounch" startup time metric. I used to do paid macOS dev ~20 years ago and most macOS devs I knew then used the bounce metric! Back then multiple bounces was the norm due to HDDs. One bounce really wasn't possible until SSDs. We've lost this obsession and its time to bring it back.
Sarthi is now running on phone be it android or ios, and I can't tell if I am running an IDE (um, ADE) on phone, blazingly fast as we call it 🫨

Next up: the ability to bring in people to collab on your coding sessions
"Why are we trying to go fast in the first place" piped.video/iPUn1Fnfn0k?si=CQ5S… the current state is already good enough..
The future and sustainable way of agentic coding is not swarm of agents on full auto-pilot.
Today i finished adding math rendering support for the sleek markdown renderer in Sarthi. This document about reinforcement learning was generated by ornith model (local model).
Local model are pretty great if you want to research and do knowledge work in passive mode.
Last sat, I showcased an IDE I've been cooking for few months at Build IRL @dodopayments evt
It's focusd on local and cheaper models. Has remote ssh sandbox capabilities, linear like guided reviews, beats zed in ux, semantic graph srch

I've been trying to get into digital music making lately, and this video is really a rare piece on understanding music primitives wrt auditory perception.

Software engineering lately; if you know how to perform targetted context rich instructions to agents.
As steve yegge calls it, learning to baby sit a fleet of agents.
Currently editing rust code of an agentic AI editor in the editor itself that was bootstrapped from @AmpCode and @code yesterday evening.
Crazy times ahead.
Next: add LSP support and look for a possibility for adding user extensions.
