Personal agents are starting to buy things inside the apps people already use. @alexyango's Frida lets users save a card once and check out across millions of merchants, right in the chat. Powered by @crossmint.
Frida now has more ways to buy things for you. Save your card once, pick what you want, and Frida checks out across millions of merchants without leaving the app. We're partnering with @crossmint to power the card vault and checkout behind it

Frida is the latest AI assistant to enable agent cards and checkout with Crossmint 💪 Save a card once and Frida checks out across millions of merchants. No redirects, no extra tabs, no retyping your card. The minimal, intuitive interface your AI assistant should have.

Do user questions block your checkout? Their size is sold out. The site wants a login. The card asks for its 3-digit security code again. Crossmint pauses the purchase and lets your assistant ask the user right in the chat, and the checkout picks up where it left off. And finally your assistant can get the job done.

As we talk with more and more agents, one question keeps coming up - what if my agent screws up? Will I be liable for it We can help ensure your agent screws up, and, together with @HarborAI_ , will take all liability off your shoulders

When your app's assistant buys something for a user, Crossmint enables it to pay however the store accepts: ▪︎ A card the user saved in your assistant ▪︎ A card already saved at that store ▪︎ Other payment methods (coming soon) And it never spends more than the user allowed. docs.crossmint.com/agents/ch…

One of the many drawbacks of using stripe link and a good reason agent builders should opt for more flexible products like @crossmint_ai
So, I can’t connect @stripe Link to @Muse for a basic online payment without granting it full read access to my accounts for “financial insights” that I definitely don’t want Agentic commerce is going splendidly

Hey @jgreze! 🙂 would you folks be open to exploring a more integrated approach with more payment methods supported for @TownAI ? Our APIs allow you to: 1. Save the user's card(s) in a PCI vault. No need to have your users login into another platform outside of your app. 2. Support more payment methods such as Shop Pay, Klarna, etc. or the user’s saved payment method on the merchant. 3. Works with any card, not only US! 4. Checkout at a fraction of the cost it usually takes with higher reliability! All white-label and customizable so it feels deeply integrated into your Townie! You can probably implement all of this in one prompt! Would you be open to chat?
Your Townie can now shop for you. Ask for what you need. They find it, fill the cart, and get checkout ready with @link, built by @Stripe. You approve the charge, and Link pays with a one-time card. Your Townie and the merchant never get your payment information and nothing gets purchased until you approve the spend.
