Showcasing the student work from SCALE, a @UCLA Architecture and Urban Design Technical Seminar led by Caco Peguero, one of our Fuser Assembly members.
Working across scales, students explored how renewable energy infrastructure can reshape our relationships with architecture, ecology, and urban environments. Students learned mapping, digital and physical modeling, as well as the range of generative models using Fuser to develop speculative proposals imagining new futures for how we generate, store, and distribute energy.

What was once science fiction and stories about the future were conceived of right here in LA. Now they're becoming pretty real.
Fuser is already used by many concept designers, architects, stage designers, experiential designers, and industrial designers to prototype both fiction and the real.
For LA Tech Week, we're inviting thinkers and designers from Hollywood and aerospace to be in conversation about the recursive nature between storytelling and the technologies that get built that would sound like science fiction only a few years ago.
