Smart Africa convened an extraordinary meeting of its Steering Committee in Accra this week, on the sidelines of the 15th Africa Internet Governance Forum.
The meeting brought together representatives of Member States, international organisations, development partners and private sector members to take stock of progress, strengthen collaboration and advance strategic priorities shaping Africa’s digital future.
Discussions spotlighted key continental initiatives, including the Africa AI Council, the Smart Africa Trust Alliance, the Smart Africa Data Exchange Platform and the Continental Cybersecurity Monitoring and Evaluation Framework, highlighting continued efforts to build a more connected, trusted and secure digital Africa.
