The Ferrari CEO praised @Tesla's new Roadster unveil today: "It certainly shows that in the automotive world there's still a lot to be done. We have to keep dreaming. As a European, thank you for showing us how that, even in an old world, you can still innovate and dare." He gave the Roadster launch 10 out of 10 for technology and 10 out of 10 for presentation.

McDonald's, Burger King, Subway, Taco Bell, KFC, and 7-Eleven. Go overseas and they're cleaner, the bathrooms work, and the food is better. Same brand. They've just decided that Americans don't deserve any of it.

For 15 years every company copied Apple. Clean, simple, efficient. Now 90s throwbacks are everywhere. Fashion, music, and now software. People are doing things not because they make sense, but just because they personally love it. Less uniform, more extra. Love to see it.
I turned my TV into a Game Boy Color with a Pokemon town as my home screen. Walk into a building to open an app. Want to change a setting? Beat the gym leader first. Opus 5.5 is the goat.

Android actually took the unique/customization angle for the first decade, but I think many felt like this was a trade-off of premium. Will be fascinating to see AI bridge the gaps of custom capability and maintaining premium. piped.video/watch?v=rbRO8hmA…

We have a winner. 🏆 @george__wing building a pocket-size Thinking Machines CM-1 that you squeeze to talk to an AI. Basically a fidget stress ball turned into a supercomputer. Sending a case of Red Bull your way. Will DM for address. Give the man a follow!

Jobs built Apple for musicians and artists. If he were still running the show, Apple would probably own Suno and Sonos by now then make a keynote intro this good to announce it.

A mom at the football game handed me an unmarked bag. Turns out it was freeze-dried Nerds Gummy Clusters, and my life is changed.
I’ve seen enough. Nerds Gummy Clusters are officially a health food.

More things I have my agent do with the Tesla SDK: 1) Honk the horn when there is a bear near my trashcans. 2) More calendar context on when to warm my car. 3) Dashboard of spend on EV energy vs. spend on Gas Station fill ups (to convince my wife we need another EV). 4) Notify me when car has any potential issues.
Today I learned if you create a Tesla Developer account, they give you $10/month of free API calls. So, you can basically vibecode your own interface and/or just connect your car to an agent. Super cool, cause now I just have agent handle things like "When I climb in bed, if my battery is under 30% and the truck isn't plugged in, notify me". Also now have a Mac client to control my car. Muse one-shot the app in the screenshot below. API calls are like $0.002 each, so you can basically build anything you want and stay under a $10/month budget.
