I’m ecstatic to join the Agentic Commerce team at @Visa :) I’ll be tackling agentic commerce partnerships and helping startups build with Visa Intelligence Commerce and Trusted Agent Protocol. I joined Visa because I believe it’s laying the foundation for agentic commerce at scale. Merchants need to trust that agents are acting on behalf of real consumers. Agents need a secure way to access merchants and complete purchases. Visa bridges both sides. I’d love to chat if you’re building in agentic payments and commerce! If you’re especially cool, we can workshop ideas at the SF HQ over Arsicault pastries.

What a month.. Day 1 w/ #trusttheprocess30days
guys, i am thinking, a 30-day cinematic challenge that will run for the whole of November, a very very simple challenge, here is what it entails, you are gonna film just one scene, only one daily, you post it,( i think we should use a hashtag, so i can track so let's use: #trusttheprocess30days ) you don't need a camera if you dont have one, you dont need lights, just film whatever comes to mind for that day, and at the end of the challenge, you will combine the 30 shots, into a cinematic sequence, and tell a story with it. i will figure out what to gift the best sequence, in due time. who is down?

What can still go wrong when you use BTC as collateral? We've talked about how Hashi works, its security architecture, and why price oracles matter. But there's another side of Bitcoin-backed DeFi we need to understand. Risk doesn't disappear because infrastructure is better. ⭐️ Let's break it down. 1. Bitcoin custody and withdrawal risk Hashi uses MPC validators and a Guardian in a 2-of-2 multisig arrangement to authorize normal Bitcoin withdrawals. That's an additional security layer, but validator compromise, guardian failure, and operational issues still matter. 2. Smart contract risk Hashi's contracts govern important on-chain operations. But bugs, unexpected interactions, or vulnerabilities in applications built on top can still create losses. 3. Oracle risk Lending protocols need reliable BTC prices to value collateral. Stale, inaccurate, or manipulated price data can affect borrowing and liquidation decisions. 4. Liquidation risk Even when the infrastructure works as designed, BTC price movements can make your collateral position unhealthy. The lending venue's LTV limits, liquidation thresholds, and execution rules determine what happens next. 5. Integration risk Hashi is infrastructure, not one universal lending product. Different wallets, vault providers, and DeFi applications can introduce different risks and assumptions. This is why you should evaluate the entire system, not just the underlying protocol. Here's my takeaway: Bitcoin-backed DeFi is not only about making BTC productive. It's about understanding every layer between your Bitcoin and the financial application using it. Hashi 101 · Day 7 @SuiCommunity #Hashi101 #Sui #BTCFi
Your BTC can be worth less than your DeFi app thinks. And that can become a serious problem when you're borrowing against it. Let's talk about price oracles. A price oracle brings market data on-chain so a smart contract can use it to value collateral and manage liquidations. Here you deposit BTC and borrow a stablecoin against it. The lending protocol needs to know what your BTC is worth to determine how much you can borrow and whether your position is still healthy. But what if the price feed is: • Stale: It hasn't updated to reflect the current market. • Manipulated or inaccurate: The reported price doesn't reflect a reliable market value. • Unavailable: The protocol can't get a fresh price when it needs one. Any of these can affect collateral valuation or liquidation decisions. That's why a DeFi protocol needs more than a price number. It needs rules for checking freshness, handling unusual price deviations, and deciding what to do when reliable data isn't available. ⭐️ Where does Hashi fit in? Hashi provides infrastructure for using native BTC as programmable collateral on Sui. The lending venue built on top defines important details such as its oracle integration, loan-to-value limits, and liquidation rules. So don't assume every Hashi integration handles oracle risk the same way. Before borrowing against BTC, ask: 1. Where does the price come from? 2. How does the protocol detect stale or abnormal prices? 3. What happens if the oracle stops updating? Because in DeFi, the wrong price can be just as dangerous as the wrong collateral.
