Sometimes the most helpful thing is connecting with someone who truly understands what agricultural life feels like. AgTalk, from @domoreag, is an anonymous online peer support community available 24/7 for farmers, ranchers, agricultural workers and members of the agricultural community across Canada. Hosted by Togetherall and available in English and French, AgTalk offers a space to connect with others who understand — whether you’re looking for support, connection or simply someone to talk to. During World Mental Health Awareness Month and throughout the year, no one should have to navigate the hard seasons alone. This harvest season, many producers across Canada are navigating rain delays, quality losses, and financial uncertainty. Five ways to navigate a season of loss and grief: 1) A difficult harvest is a real loss, and grief is a reasonable response. 2) Acknowledge the season before moving on 3) Talk to those around you about what's happening 4) Use your body as a guide for how you're doing. 5) Find understanding in shared experience If you or someone you know needs support, find crisis lines, ag-informed counselling, and mental health resources at hubs.ly/Q04z5cjZ0 #CdnAg #MentalHealthMatters
