If you support Rogers, you’re supporting rabid bigotry—not just in Michigan, but in the White House.

We are horrified to learn that Temple Emanu-El-Beth Sholom in Montreal was attacked last night. Several windows were damaged by what appears to be BB gun shots. This is entirely unacceptable and yet another attack on a synagogue in a way that no words can truly capture our anger towards. Those responsible should face the harshest possible penalties. We are in touch with folks at the synagogue and will do everything we can to support them at this dark time.

Dear Ben, Launching a personal attack against an ER doctor for advocacy and using his right to free speech to participate in our democracy, is a new low. I don't get why you feel you need to appeal to the lowest common denominator. Because of who you are, you have a an automatic platform with reach that most people can only dream of. You don't need to pander to negative trashy elements. You could use your privilege for so much good instead. I wish you would talk to Catherine Clark about it for inspiration, and steer yourself in a direction that contributes something good for society. Because this isn't it.

I live in an area where everyone has an opinion on how things should be improved (usually unsolicited) and the voting turn out today was a pathetic 35 % . I don’t understand this complacency during these troubled times. You had your chance.
