I find it so hard to work on music when i can hear people next door, more because i get hyper aware and self conscious of how I’m probably annoying them stopping and starting the same bit over and over…
Was searching for a vocal sample to complete a new track i’ve been working on, i came across something amazing in the depths of youtube from the 1960s… didn’t fit the track but then i stayed up til 4am making an entirely new track around it… which i think is even better haha
Letting go of a mix of a track is the hardest thing to do… knowing it’ll always be that way… and the potential of always thinking ahhh ‘i should have had more focus on this element’ or whatever… it always freaks me out ahhhhhh
