As a historian, I suggest people start keeping diaries of their impressions/reactions during these dark times, for the future historical record. Do written entries or type & print them out (don't leave them only as data files). Also include instructions for donation to archive.

Interesting detail in this case of an inmate who stabbed a C.O. in the eye. In 2022, at the CO Supermax, he reached out to an Aryan Brotherhood member by telling him ISIS had white members.

The only previous attack I can remember that approaches the seriousness of the horrific attack this weekend in Michigan was the 1988 bombing of an LDS stake house--but it was empty at the time, though the bombers killed an officer in a later standoff.
