whole point of indiemation is to not be bogged down by the execs trying to meddle in your projects but the hate for indie animation has made people say you should sell your life's work to a corporation that will try to change it up
Okay genuine question. Why do indie shows continue to fund themselves via overpriced merch instead of just getting a sponsor and not being indie? None of them make anything that isn't tropey safe family friendly animation so what exactly is the need to stay independent.
