Teddy and the good people at @magicpatterns are some of the most prolific builders I know. Sharp feedback, good taste.
i used to spend at least a few days every month dealing with some infra non-sense. i haven't thought about our deployments in MONTHS with @render. Never have caused any trouble or issues at all. Fast support + they listen to their customers.

One month at @render just beat an entire quarter. In March, we added more net new ARR than in all of Q1 2025. 4.8x YoY. 86% above our prior record. Nearly all of this was word of mouth. Developers telling other developers. That compounding is real. Proud of this team.

Two friends of mine were laid off from Meta in the latest restructuring. One had been there three years. The other for seven. Job anxiety is ripping through the nation and policymakers are completely unprepared for the next few years. So I built @jobanxiety, a site tracking 800+ jobs created by AI with research on upskilling and labor market trends on in-demand jobs in the AI era. I see this as a continuation of my research at Brookings where I started my career as a economic analyst on the Workforce of the Future team. Subscribe now to jobanxiety.ai/newsletter for the weekly updates on the latest on layoffs and hiring trends to escape the permanent underclass. Comment any companies you want me to track next. Built with @OpenAI, hosted on @render, video by @Replit, labor research by @claudeai.

Design moved quickly on this one. A small but important detail: the badge does not incur a layout offset unless the buttons are stacked.
Whoever the engineer at @render who suggests "Last used" badge, needs to be given a raise. Simple but smart!

Velocity is everything for a startup, and wasting cycles on cloud infrastructure is a painful tax on iteration. We're launching the Render Startup Program to fix that. Get up to $100K in credits to ship, iterate, & scale faster on a platform built for modern AI and web apps. Learn more: render.com/startups

Deployed Carbon Components Svelte on @render. Defining config rules (like header rewrites) in a render.yaml file is especially convenient for static, pre-rendered SPAs. github.com/carbon-design-sys…

Carbon Svelte has been in maintenance mode for a while, so I always appreciate users fixing bugs. Remember: repro + triaging the bug is usually the hard/time-consuming part, not the code fix. - github.com/carbon-design-sys… - github.com/carbon-design-sys… - github.com/carbon-design-sys…

If you're running a web service on Render, enable edge caching right now. Especially if you're serving a lot of static assets, like images/video. Just enabled for behnazfarahi.com/
Render now supports edge caching for all paid web services! Serve static assets from a global CDN, dramatically improving response times and reducing server load. See the difference in action:
