We're rewatching LOST, and almost halfway in, I'm completely shocked...
Not only is it just as good as I remember, but it might actually be even better.
- The cast is incredible, diverse, and has absurd charisma.
- The character arcs are just as interesting as the core mysteries.
- 24 episode seasons (for the first 3 at least) with very little filler. Unimaginable in the streaming age.
- Great storytelling that doesn't rely on language, sex, or social-agenda-centric stories as a crutch like pretty much everything on streaming (looking at you, Netflix)
The show's a ton of fun, and makes me miss an era where everyone was watching and debating a "for all audiences" mystery every week (that never felt watered down just because it was on network TV).
Still the GOAT!
