This default disabling of macros pipe-dream was us geeks forgetting that productivity comes first (especially when it is today’s productivity vs tomorrow’s theoretical downtime from a security incident).
I bet you didn’t know that angry finance exec who yelled at you that his macros weren’t working could skip a few levels and escalate all the way up to Microsoft finance. 🤷🏻♀️🍸
