About to repartition my MacBook Pro M1 for @OmarchyMac . Do I need to redo this once Omarchy has Apple Silicon support itself in the near future or will this transition smoothly?

Every OS, including Arch and NixOS, is opiniated and contains a lot of things I will never use. Shut the fuck up!

Love it that @OmarchyLinux #quattro uses #Quickshell but it's not quite clear to me why it the amount of memory that it does. It's somewhere between Hyprland and the Zen browser. So substantial. Anything I can do to reduce the RAM usage?

For me a perfect Omarchy system (hi @dhh #toomuchtagging @vaxryy) never shows the background image so I finetuned the Hyprland Monocle layout to always open fullscreen on an empty workspace and switch to a deterministic non-empty workspace when I close an app.

I often looked forward to enthusiastic messages from @dhh about #Omarchy . Hopefully we soon get to play with Quattro.

I created two PR's for #cliamp by @iamdothash to drastically reduce CPU load for this app when running on my beloved 11 inch 2011 MacBook Air running @OmarchyLinux by @dhh (idle load 2%->0.1%, load during playback 18%->4.5%)
