"Come for the tool, stay for the network." @cdixon, @a16z Been thinking a lot about community. Why people join, why they stay, why they contribute/build own niche-r groups. So we're hacking on it 🧵🤌

We mapped Hg Capital's entire portfolio into a Knowledge graph and studied their strategy. Hg owns four companies that sell the same product to the same buyer. The research every PE firm cites to justify buy-and-build says it stops working after two acquisitions. One company in this portfolio has made about a hundred. 29 of these 59 companies never raised a penny of outside capital before Hg showed up. See what you can learn about their strategy and let me know! Link to the graph in the comments below.

We pioneered Multi-Agent AI systems (now known as Agent graphs) together back in 2024, now we're pioneering enterprise knowledge graphs and multi-brain architecture. After more than a year in the Estonian Cyber Force, Kert Laansalu returns to the UK and joins the team at 60x as Founding Engineer! 🔥 With extensive experience working together on enterprise AI systems which served Fortune 500 banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds and the UN amongst others, we're building immediate momentum! 🚀 Big things to come, soon every company will have a unified context layer supplying all of their Agents and we're enabling that. Get in touch.

One day, companies will have only one piece of software. A constructor Agent will be deployed, which builds connectors to all existing software. These connectors will be used to pull all organisational context. The Agent will then use this amassed context to determine the value chain of the company and therefore a corresponding optimised data ontology. The data will be arranged into this Unifying Ontology using code written by the Agent, providing perfect Precision and Recall for retrieval on demand by future systems. The ontology will contain data on every Company, Person, Project and Workflow which has ever existed within the organisation. In the process, this will make any existing pure-software redundant. This Ontology will then be used by the Agent to build additional agents and software to automate every workflow end-to-end. From the point the context/data enters the Company to the point that it leaves the Company as an Action/Instruciton/Deliverable. Each company will have a different piece of software, but each company will have exactly one piece of software.

GPU prices fell 75% this year. GPU prices rose 40% this year. Both are true, and the gap between them is what people get wrong about AI infrastructure. Everyone says that the people building AI compute are the new kingmakers. I spoke with my friend Oscar Gompels, who's handing out the crowns himself and mapped 251 companies doing it. Here's what I learnt: Take the pricing first. On-demand H100 rates fell about 75% from the 2023 peak. One-year reserved contracts rose 40% between October 2025 and March 2026. Spot capacity deflates as each generation matures. Contracted capacity inflates while the shortage holds. Quote one number and you have described half a market. Now the kingmaker question. The companies renting you GPUs carry obsolescence risk, utilisation risk and refinancing risk at the same time. Post-depreciation margins across the category run 14 to 16%. Applied Digital earns over 25% leasing them the building. Broadcom booked $16.7bn of AI semiconductor revenue in one quarter, up 221%. VAST Data sells the storage layer, runs cash positive, and raised at $30bn. Almost everyone supplying the neoclouds has a better business than the neoclouds. @CoreWeave holds the only Platinum reliability rating in the sector, two ratings running, scored on security, health checks, networking and orchestration rather than price. It lists H100 capacity near $6.16 an hour against rivals at $3.85 and sells out anyway, because a failed run on ten thousand GPUs costs more than the rate card difference. It re-leased three year old H100s at 95% of original pricing and has A100s contracted through 2029. That is the strongest published evidence against the idea that a GPU is worthless after three years, and it came from an operator willing to disclose it. Its backlog reached $104bn, and the share running beyond four years doubled in a year. A week of this left me with one rule of thumb. The money flows to whoever holds something you cannot easily rebuild in a hurry: an energised site, a substation, an operating record customers renew against. Anyone can order chips. We've published a public knowledge graph on this topic, check the comments below to explore it yourself!

First journey to another star. As a space geek, this genuinely feels like a dream come true. One of my favourite projects ever and easily the most challenging, given the level of detail the mission required. Huge thanks to @PhilipJohnston and team for trusting us to bring this to life. Made at @ZeroOneCreative, led by my co-founders @Rupert01C and @james_01c . LFG 🚀 #FermiExplorer
Did you know that humanity has never launched a spacecraft to another star? That is about to change! I'm super excited to share that my cofounders, @AdiOltean, @EzraFeilden, and I, have created a non-profit to attempt to send humanity’s 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿… and we need your help! We have formed a non-profit called The @FermiExplorer Mission with the goal of launching a minimum viable spacecraft to Alpha Centauri, the nearest star system, leaving in 3 years and arriving in around 80,000 years. We hope it will be both the first spacecraft to leave Earth for another star, and the last to arrive, as per this concept video! The mission is intended to make the idea of interstellar travel real, and to encourage more people to confront one of humanity’s biggest unanswered questions when we look beyond our planet: "Where is everybody?" (the Fermi Paradox) The mission has four high-level objectives: - Aim: To launch the first spacecraft to another star. It should get at least 99% of the way to the nearest star system, Alpha Centauri, within 80,000 years. - Payload: It should have at least a 1kg, 10x10x10 cm payload. - Schedule: It should launch before the end of 2029 - Cost: It should cost less than $15M to design, build, launch, and operate. The mission was planned with the help of the folks at @astrodigitalgeo, @MattGialich and the folks at @AstroForge, and @alexwg+@matthew_pines physical AI lab PSI, who devised the final mission profile. The mission will be executed by full-time program manager @GarrettJameson, who joins us after 10 years as a US Air Force Officer, in collaboration with a US bus manufacturing partner that will be selected over the coming months. We will need your help to complete the mission, so if the idea of the mission excites you, please check out the Fermi Explorer website in the comments to find out more about why we are doing the mission and how to get involved! Thanks to London Studio @ZeroOneCreative and @ashkan01C for producing the concept video 🙏🙏

A lot of friends across Londons tech ecosystem kept asking me; "do you know anyone with a room? " Sooo, I started directoryldn.com It's a directory for roommates, sublets and house shares within Londons tech ecosystem. Here's all the information about Londons Tech Directory: > You can list an available room --or post what you’re looking for, including your budget, preferred areas and moving dates. > Listings show the people behind them, so members can browse profiles and contact each other directly. > Application and Invite only. Any member can invite someone -- dm me for an invite or apply. > Invites come with accountability, only invite people you know and can vouch for. This playbook works well; San Francisco has its own (directorysf.com), check it out if you are going across the pond and need a place to stay! Over the last 2 years I've seen the London scene grow larger and larger with more communities & events. What London uniquely misses, is more shared living/hacker houses. Rushing to find a place in London can mean missing out on relationships with shared interests -- so I hope this project spurs on some more questions about becoming a multiplanetary species whilst unloading the dishwasher. Apply or ask a friend for an invite.

What maximum efficiency looks like in Knowledge Graph development? More Knowledge Graphs. I've been using @graphify since it was released by my good friend @safishamsii . Here's a knowledge graph I built of the AI Brain codebase using Graphify. A knowledge graph of a knowledge graph platform... Graphception It actually massively improves the retrieval performance of my coding agents and allows them to both find relevant context faster and make edits to the codebase with much lower token consumption. What Graphify enables for bases and coding agents, Ai Brain does for scattered enterprise data.
