A Key reason why the FOU exists in the way it does today. RIP Gavin. A brave officer
💐 IN MEMORY
Today marks the anniversary of the death of West Midlands PC Gavin Carlton.
Gavin tragically died on 19 December 1988 when his car crashed after it was shot at as he pursued two armed robbers. A gunman then approached and shot him at point blank range.

Good work from our traffic brothers and sisters 👏🏻
#RoadCrimeTeam saw this cloned & stolen RR in Dudley after it had been used in multiple 4x4 thefts & was towing an L200 which had just been stolen. The occupants dumped the L200 before we pursued the RR, they later decamped & all 3 were arrested with the help of #ANPRInterceptors
