dear timeline what [1] sandbox provider has the best sdk as in public api shape, composability et al. [1] no, i don’t want to use them. this is for research/cloning purposes. low level primitives are now done in kittens so now can do into the higher level concerns.

TIL if AWS takes back an EC2 Spot instance before it has run for one hour, your usage is completely free!

We were losing so much time waiting on our merge queue that I'm building my own. Batch merge queues are the future: group PRs, run CI once, merge them all. Haven't found anything that does it well. Anyone else feeling this pain?

AWS just shipped Vercel's Fluid Compute, natively inside Lambda. It's called Lambda Web Functions. Vercel's core compute advantage is now an AWS primitive. What's the same, what's different, and the tradeoffs 🧡

My take: Vercel's compute was a real moat, and AWS lagged for years. That gap is closed. Vercel now sells the developer experience on top. That's what @Ravion gives you: a Vercel-like experience in your own AWS account, for agents and humans. Web Functions support coming soon.

We’re working on some CRAZY awesome new @Ravion products that completely shatter the normal expectations of what’s possible for speed and cost on AWS 🀯

Saying software is dead because anyone can build it is like saying photography is dead now that everyone in the world has a camera in their pocket Not only is it not dead it's the beginning of the Kodak Brownie moment for software, and we will see an absolute explosion of it It will be the first generation for who building software will feel no different than using it. This is crazy! The quality and bar of what we expect from our everyday apps will be raised dramatically, we'll have personal software, we'll have disposable software, and agents will be the foundation for most of it Tech has always been chaotic and evolving, the people who have been able to adapt and move in front of new opportunities have always excelled, this is nothing new, I'm seeing it now and we'll see it 10 years from now Find the opportunities in the chaose and disruption, there are countless of them

Optimizing performance is so addicting Especially when it’s on a new product dropping soon that’s going to blow the socks off one of the biggest issues teams are having right now
