Privt. Calendar and Privt. Work are now in Privt for the Mac and the web vault, beside Privt. Vault. All three share one vault, so locking Privt locks pages, events and tasks together. Each item is encrypted on the device, with keys our servers hold only in wrapped form.

What do you get when you mix @NotionHQ + @WisprFlow + @ProtonPrivacy but make it all E2EE encrypted? > @getprivt.
Some things aren't ready to be shared. Privt. gives you end-to-end encrypted: > Voice transcription. > Meeting notes. > Project boards. > Calendar. > Pages. Free to use forever.

@ProtonPrivacy offers Mail, Calendar, Drive and Pass as separate apps under one account. Its calendar encrypts an event's title, description, location and stored guest list end to end. As of October 2026 it has no task board; tasks are on its Calendar roadmap. proton.me/blog/mail-calendar…

The notes, calendar and task board you use daily are usually "encrypted", but the company that runs them can still read every word inside. When you read the fine-print, they might be able to encrypt your data in-transit & at-rest, but they can also decrypt since they own the keys. I wanted the to be able work productively with the same amount of trust I put into @signalapp, so I built Privt. Calendar and Privt. Work into @getprivt - free-to-use, E2EE encrypted productivity.

Privt now supports 4 new languages! 🌏 🇯🇵 日本語 🇰🇷 한국어 🇨🇳 中文 🇷🇺 Русский Voice, notes, documents, files and Vault, all built around privacy. Think Wispr Flow + Notion + Dropbox, with end-to-end encryption and security at the core. Your words. Your files. Your knowledge. Private by default.

You used to have one search history. Now you have six different LLM's you use for different reasons, scattered across companies you'll never have the time to audit, remembering things you'll never get to see. We built Privt so those memories stay yours.

woah. Court just unsealed Summary Judgment motions in New York Times v OpenAI / Microsoft. Easy to see why the AI companies had so many redactions (pink). Their own people wrote the lede for NYT, the "largest theft of labor in human history"... "more and more substitutive..." /1

This matters as notes tools add AI. To power AI a service has to read your content, and Notion documents that it sends page content to OpenAI and Anthropic and embeds every page. Those protections are contractual, and they hold for as long as the contract does.

Privt. Vault is here. Your notes become pages you can style, nest, and fill with images, edited across your Mac and the web, and every page is end to end encrypted, so the service that stores it cannot read it.

The vault is free and local on the Mac, and Pro adds encrypted sync across your devices and the web. A fourteen-agent cryptography review placed it at or above Bitwarden and Proton on every item type.
