Launched in 2005, GUS is an important longitudinal study, tracking the lives of young people and their families from birth through to teenage years and beyond.
๐ข New data alert: Age 20/Sweep 12 data now available
Data from the 12th sweep of GUS is now available via the UK Data Service. Collected in 2025 when cohort members were aged around 20, this rich dataset covers education, employment, living arrangements, mental health, financial wellbeing, social media, relationships and a host of other topics.
With participants now navigating early adulthood, the data offers unique opportunities to explore transitions from school into work and higher education, and how childhood and adolescent experiences shape adult outcomes.
