Once you found your clip, it opens in Kino like any other.
Kino will auto-magically select the right Grade presets for Log clips or regular ones, along with your imported LUTs. Just select one, and preview it to see the applied look. Nice!
First off, find your clip. Depending on your settings, Kino will show you all your videos if you tap into the reviewer or just the ones you shot to Files.
If it’s the latter, tap ‘Libraries’ and navigate over to Photos to see all the videos in your Photos library.
Pro Tip: you can grade any video in Kino, even if you didn’t shoot it there. Got an Action Mode clip you shot in Log in Apple Camera? Grade it in Kino!

Halide 2.17 is here — bringing you more powerful Adjustments with Camera Control on iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro.
Halide defaults to our new ‘Locked’ Adjustment — preventing any accidental input. Tap into EV or Focus to adjust exposure, or focus manually with the Camera Control.
So, the main drawbacks of ProRes Log are file size and requiring a color grade to look great.
