Its kinda wild watching someone write about making a game engine on top of something you’ve built 😵‍💫 this blog series has been excellent so far
This one was a doozy! ✅ Render Loop Dev Log When rendering a 3D world on 2D canvas there are a lot of things to think through..

Last week we re-opened our annual @xyflowdev developer survey 📋 If you’ve ever used React Flow *or* Svelte Flow we’d love to harvest your data 👁️👁️ React: reactflow.dev/developer-surv… Svelte: svelteflow.dev/developer-sur… Every question is optional, but every answer is valuable! 💕

I reached out to @GoldsmithsUoL in September to get my degree re-issued in my name, seems like they’ve lost it and won’t reply to any emails. So I guess I spent a year and 10k on a piece of paper I don’t even have anymore. Nice!

When we talk about institutional transphobia its not just overtly transphobic policy, its things like having a digital form form for other requests but forcing trans alumni reach out separately. When i reached out the email bounced back because the address was no longer active

The last update i got was *six weeks ago* that said they received the docs and would be “passed on”… Just honestly so disappointing and exhausting.

Say I had my own component library and I wanted to play around making something like v0.dev,, anyone have any ideas how to make that happen 👀

I wrote some thoughts on why I think folks taking pot shots at Gleam's 1/0 = 0 is actually a good sign for the language over on the other site 🦋 If it's the only thing someone can complain about, I reckon we have a pretty solid language 💕
Replying to @DNAutics @josevalim
Ah, Gleam. Now I understand what José meant by 'static typing people' 😁

I have friends at vercel who are going to be directly harmed by a trump presidency and their CEO is already tasting leather; disgusting.
Congrats President Trump 🇺🇸 Excited about the impact 𝕏, prediction markets, citizen journalism, podcasts, and the open web played in fostering democracy and a free media. It's a new world.

One of the most under-appreciated aspects of Gleam's DX is just how fast the compiler is. Slow compile times are a *constant* point of friction in the TS world - there are tips on how to express types more efficiently for the checker!! - and as a result the LSP *chugs* a lot

In Gleam you basically just forget a little program is running while you type, it is instant 🤯

And this will pay off over the long term too. Gleam had a simple LSP implementation for a long time: even if the compiler was slow it might not have been a big deal. But as you add non-local analysis and code actions,, then having that speed there from day one is a huge boon ⚡️

Built with @xyflowdev of course 😇 Tomorrow we’re going to release something that makes it easier for the rest of us to build apps like this 🤭🤭
"Free and open-source database diagrams editor, visualize and design your DB with a single query."

🫳🎤 We've been working for a couple of months on a shadcn-backed component collection, and that includes a database schema node! Check out the announcement here:
For the last few months we’ve been working on a project called React Flow Components, powered by the new @shadcn CLI. If you already know what that means, you can dive straight into the docs at reactflow.dev/components Otherwise, more details in 🧵…

Its so easy for complexity to explode in a React app even for the basic things. @moklick and I took us from some complicated sandpack-powered multi-app examples setup to a single @vite_js powered app and some plain ol' iframes. Way faster and way easier to work with 💪
🧵 We have revamped our approach to developing and showcasing code examples on our website.👇

Someone has built an OTP process monitor in Gleam using Lustre’s server components. Used this way you have a pretty similar setup to something like LiveView, super cool to see in the wild 🤩🤩 Go check it out here hexdocs.pm/spectator/ 💕

Eileen has written this great article about Lustre "It gives me the same feeling of confidence I'd get from driving a rivet into a sheet of steel. Once in place, that thing is not going anywhere." Go give it some love! 💕 dev.to/enoonan/lustre-and-gl…
