A WORLD FIRST! 🌍 Loch Lomond. (7:46:15 hours) Fastest End to End Time Recorded. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Lake Windermere. (3:38:27 hours) Fastest End to End Waterhead to Fellfoot. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Llyn Bala. (49:46 minutes) Fastest End to End. Cumulative time: 12 hours 14 minutes and 28 seconds. 35 miles (55km) swum. 320 miles driven. 19,000 calories burnt. All in 24 Hours. This is the 3 Lakes Challenge. 🇬🇧 Call it extreme. I call it necessary. 3 LAKES CHALLENGE – WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT! On the 2nd of August I will be attempting to swim the UK’s Three biggest lakes, one in each home nation, all inside 24 hours, including travelling between each lake. 6th. The Paris 2024 Olympics have concluded, marking the end of my second Olympic Games. While I initially felt conflicted about the outcome, upon reflection, there's much to be proud of. Although I didn’t achieve the medal I believed was within reach, the performance I delivered represents the culmination of three years of hard work and the redemption I’ve sought since Tokyo 2021. I feel incredibly fortunate to have competed in such an iconic venue. It's rare for open water swimming to receive the attention that Paris 2024 provided. Despite the concerns about water quality leading up to the event, I commend Paris for making it their Olympic legacy to clean up the Seine, setting a powerful precedent for other nations to follow. To have raced in the flagship event for the games is something I will cherish forever. The last year has been the most successful of my career so far, winning a World championship medal for Britain, the first in Olympic distance for 13 years. Momentum is behind me, this is just the beginning. Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout my career! Exciting things ahead. #Paris2024 #Olympics

They say every child has a dream, to pursue the dream is in every child hand’s to make it a reality. I had the dream of becoming an Olympic Champion. I put the work in everyday and I’m so happy to say that I have accomplished my childhood dream. However behind every child you have a support team of friends, family, coaches, teammates who encourage and help make your dream a reality. So I would firstly like to thank my parents who sacrificed their own lives to make my dream a reality. My best friends and teammates who supported and pushed me to achieve my dream. My coaches, especially Andi Manley you created the journey and allowed me to push myself until I had achieved my dream. Now Paris 2024 is over and I head back to Ireland I can finally reflect and thank everyone for the support across the past weeks and I’m happy to say I’m bringing a Gold and Bronze home 🥇🥉 Sláinte mo chairde 💚
