I met with David Fialkow, Co-Founder and Managing Director of General Catalyst, where we discussed the rapid developments shaping the technology sector, their implications for investment trends, and the promising opportunities emerging across future-focused industries. We also exchanged views on areas of mutual interest and potential collaboration, highlighting the importance of combining expertise and investment capabilities to support innovative ventures and develop meaningful partnerships that drive growth and create sustainable economic value.

ترأست اجتماع مجلس إدارة شركة إم جي إكس، حيث استعرضنا أداء محفظتها الاستثمارية وأبرز التطورات في أنشطتها، والتقدم الذي تحققه في توسيع حضورها ضمن منظومة الذكاء الاصطناعي والتكنولوجيا المتقدمة. كما ناقشنا الفرص الواعدة والأولويات الاستراتيجية للمرحلة المقبلة، مع التركيز على الاستثمارات النوعية التي تدعم نمو الشركة وتسهم في تطوير البنية التحتية والتقنيات التي يقوم عليها مستقبل الذكاء الاصطناعي.

I chaired the Board of Directors meeting of MGX, where we reviewed the performance of its investment portfolio, key developments across its activities, and progress in expanding its presence in the AI and advanced technology ecosystem. We also discussed promising opportunities and strategic priorities for the next phase, focusing on high-impact investments that support the company’s growth and contribute to advancing the infrastructure and technologies underpinning the future of AI.

التقيت الدكتور ثانوس دوكوس، مستشار الأمن القومي لرئيس وزراء اليونان، حيث بحثنا العلاقات الثنائية وسبل تعزيز الشراكة الاستراتيجية الشاملة التي تجمع البلدين، ومسارات التعاون في القطاعات ذات الاهتمام المشترك. كما تبادلنا وجهات النظر حول مستجدات القضايا الراهنة على الساحتين الإقليمية والدولية.

I met with Dr. Thanos Dokos, National Security Advisor of the Hellenic Republic, where we discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen the comprehensive strategic partnership between our two countries, as well as cooperation in areas of mutual interest. We also exchanged views on current regional and international developments.

I met with Dan Simkowitz, Co-President of Morgan Stanley, where we reviewed the capital requirements underpinning the expansion of the AI ecosystem and the implications of rapid technological advancements for the future of work and the global economic and investment landscape. We also exchanged views on developments in IPO markets and the growing role of digital assets in wealth management, amid broader transformations reshaping financial markets and opening new opportunities across the global investment landscape.

In the presence of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, I chaired the meeting of the Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology Council, where we reviewed strategic priorities and project developments, and discussed the importance of developing and retaining talent and building a strong scientific and technological foundation that reflects Abu Dhabi's ambitions for the future. These priorities reflect Abu Dhabi's vision of building a knowledge-and innovation-driven economy, investing in people, science, and technology, and strengthening the emirate's position as a global environment for shaping the future and attracting the talent, expertise, and partnerships that create lasting value for generations to come.

التقيت في مسقط اليوم صاحب الجلالة السلطان هيثم بن طارق، سلطان عُمان الشقيقة، ونقلت له تحيات أخيه صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن زايد آل نهيان، رئيس الدولة. وأجرينا مباحثات تناولت سبل تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية، في ضوء ما تشهده من تطور مستمر في مختلف المجالات. العلاقات الإماراتية العُمانية أخوية وتاريخية راسخة، وهناك حرص متبادل من قيادتي البلدين على البناء عليها والارتقاء بها لتعزيز فرص التعاون والتكامل الثنائي، وبما يخدم المصالح المشتركة للبلدين والشعبين الشقيقين.

Today in Muscat, I met His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of Oman, and conveyed the greetings of his brother, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. We discussed strengthening bilateral relations in light of their continued progress across various fields. UAE-Oman relations are rooted in deep fraternal and historic ties. Both leaderships are committed to further strengthening bilateral cooperation and integration in support of the shared interests of the two brotherly countries and peoples.

I conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to His Excellency Ilham Aliyev, President of the friendly Republic of Azerbaijan, along with His Highness’s wishes for further progress and prosperity for Azerbaijan and its people. During our meeting in Baku, we discussed the friendship and strategic partnership between our countries and ways to expand cooperation across priority areas that serve our mutual interests. We also witnessed the signing and exchange of several agreements and memorandums of understanding between entities in the UAE and Azerbaijan, aimed at expanding cooperation and joint investment between the two countries.
