(banking + cards + books + payroll) x agents = sick
1/ Hiring your first employee is one of the biggest moments for a founder. But payroll, taxes, benefits, and compliance are far more complicated than they need to be. Now with AI we can make the pain of payroll go away. @Mercury Payroll* launches today!

3/ Like the rest of Mercury’s products, Payroll works with our AI agent, Command.* Ask Command to update an employee’s salary and it checks current compensation, requests the effective date of the change, then prepares the changes for you to confirm. Or ask Command to help set a new employee up on payroll and cards and it can get it started for you in the same conversation.

Great Muse use case unlocked. Now reads all emails and app comms from my kids school and tells me any forms and events I need to know. Been a pain to track for years.

The first 4 times I saw this I thought it was an AI video. Literally rocket technology in a car. Completely unnecessary. But I really want it!

1/ Starting today you can take actions on your @Mercury business and personal accounts right from your agent (ChatGPT/Claude/etc) via the MCP. Our MCP already let you ask questions about your accounts.* Now it can move money too (with your approval).

4/ AI agents are great, but they’re not foolproof yet. Mercury sits between your agents and your money to keep you in control: an agent can initiate moving money, but Mercury only completes the transfer after you approve it with a quick tap. And you can revoke an agent's access at any time.

5/ Plenty of tools let you connect to an MCP to get your financial information, but that information is not that useful if you can’t act on it. We’re now let you take action on business and personal accounts from ChatGPT, Claude and your other agents. Founders build with tools that can keep up with them. That's why they pick Mercury. *Mercury is a fintech company, not an FDIC-insured bank. Banking services provided through Choice Financial Group and Column N.A., Members FDIC. Corporate credit cards should give cashback and It should be 100% clear what you get in 2026. I find it sad that fintechs are still playing this arbitrage game. Ramp used to pay 1.5% cashback but now often pays less than 1%. Even though interchange rates are >2.5%. To access higher cashback, you have to have more spend and negotiate with sales people which no entrepreneur wants to waste their time on.

Runlayer building the agent protection layer for enterprises. Impressive execution from Andy and team (disclaimer: small/proud investor)
Today, we're launching the ability to say yes to Muse at work. People are giving Muse access to their company's most sensitive data & systems. Yet companies have no way to control this access. Many are blocking it. Others have had Muse go rogue, leaking company data, sending unauthorized emails, and more. Runlayer provides hundreds of secured connectors for Muse, governed by deterministic policies & runtime security models that you can control. Runlayer also detects when Muse is being used within company systems without governance, and alerts you. Teams get access to the most powerful personal agent. Companies maintain security and control. Win win.
