While you were driving on crumbling roads, thousands of Transportation Services employees were forced to undergo all day “equity and reconciliation” training.
This mass indoctrination ritual included forbidding the word “stakeholder” due to colonial origins, as well as messaging about relinquishing public land and financial reparations.
We are unclear of the correlation between “reconciliation” and Transportation Services mandate of “operating, maintaining, and managing Toronto’s transportation system.” Does this mindwashing exercise represent excessive scope creep from local government’s operating mandate?
