Never understood why the glowing Apple logo was removed from the MacBooks for all these years.

A lot of the satisfaction in iOS development came from owning the process. You planned it, wrote it, debugged it, and shipped it. The result felt connected to the effort. When large parts of that process get skipped, something gets lost.

True that. A new app never gives the same feeling anymore, things are so mechanical and just a prompt away!

The old iOS community was more engaged because people still had to figure things out themselves. Now a lot of the hard parts can be skipped, and the conversations around the work have become thinner.
I really miss the old days of iOS development. We used to talk about frameworks, new APIs, third-party libraries, architecture, and how to solve real problems. There was genuine enthusiasm. When someone launched a new app, it felt different. AI made a lot of things easier, but it also took some of that feeling away.

It's not a new feature, but everyone I've shown this Apple Watch tip to has fallen in love with it. It's a great, subtle way to check you're not running late for a meeting while staying focused on a conversation. support.apple.com/guide/watc…

$4.99 coffee? No problem. $4.99 app? Let me read 300 reviews first.

I like @UnstoppableWeb’s multi-agent workflows. You can chain together prompts & scripts to automate your entire dev lifecycle. I save so much time with a code review loop that cleans up PRs with both Claude & Codex. Plus you can use OS models for free.
