Quick math on YouTube ads. 1 hour of YouTube a day = ~18 hours of ads a year. 18 hours at minimum wage (C$15/h) = ~C$270 of your time. YouTube Premium = C$156 a year, music included. Not saying everyone needs it. But if you already pay for a music app, it's worth running the numbers.

People really need to start thinking about subscriptions as value for money. Some interesting statistics I just read in a paper from 2018 (Bessembinder, "Do Stocks Outperform Treasury Bills?"). Just 4% of companies created ALL the market's $35 trillion in wealth. From 1926 to 2016, 58% of all US stocks did not outperform Treasury bills over their lifetime.

I have three bots running daily reports. Same job today as before. On the legacy sub, one cycle of reports didn't even touch my Grok Bot usage limit. Now one cycle moves it 3% and now it's even shared across Grok chat and Cursor 🤯. It didn't just get worse. It got horribly worse.

People keep saying Anthropic doesn't have its own Grok Bot or Muse. But they kind of do now. Max subscribers get API credits equal to what they pay: $100/month on Max 5x, $200 on Max 20x. Plug that into your own agent, like Hermes, and it runs on Fable, Opus, Sonnet and Haiku. Maybe the best autonomous agent setup you can build right now.
