New benchmark on noahbench! Comprehension. How well can a model understand what I asked it? This bench assembles ~20 proven asks where a model fully misunderstands what i asked it. This is intended to figure out the base “intelligence” behind a model.

This is genuinely a very shocking thing to see. I can see why its useful for authenticity but wow…
Apple can now delete your whole developer account for a feature hidden in your binary. On Friday it became a separate rule, 2.5.19. Apple already rejected one of my apps for this. I'd left three testing switches in the release build: screenshots-mode, slow-entitlement, UnlockedMockPurchases. Nobody could reach them from the App Store, but Apple wrote that they "appear to have been intentionally hidden". Now I run strings on every archive before I upload.

Need to clarify again as people misunderstand: This is my benchmark. It is built to test how models function on exactly my tasks. This is real engineering work and not fluffy simulated tasks. I think people are used to the standard benches of “this applies to everyone” but i believe you should build your own benches for this. I’ll be sharing soon how i built this as i want folks to have their own.
New on Noahbench! Deepseek V4.1 Flash 1017 comes in 5th. This model was cheap, slow, and pretty decent.

Im feeling Fable 5.5 incoming. Alongside a new level above initial fable versions.
We’re committing a portion of Anthropic’s shares to the Anthropic Public Benefit Fund, a new wholly owned entity dedicated entirely to the public benefit. It will start off with 5% of our shares. For every 50% increase in the company’s value over a set baseline, we can contribute up to an extra 2%, subject to our board’s discretion. In total, this means that roughly 20% of Anthropic’s shares are committed to the public good. Our co-founders have already pledged to donate 80% of their equity, and around half our employees are donating a portion of their equity as part of a donation matching program we’ve run since our founding. In the post below, we share more details about our new fund. anthropic.com/news/public-be…

Something I've noticed in my usage, benches, and testing is that agent swarms are not useful for most projects. It feels amazing to pilot 200 agents all working towards getting your task done but, mass parallelization doesnt equal unlimited throughput. 9/10 you dont need it.

Okay so, I just found that automix is actually callable for ANY audio source. Ever wondered what @MKBHD sounds like with automix on? Me neither!
