He is already beating the drums of war despite having absolutely no strategy to win the upcoming election. First, they single-handedly fractured a united opposition that easily could have defeated Tinubu and the APC. Now, after realizing the damage they caused themselves, they called for the same opposition to reunite. Because that failed, and they have no other options left, it is blindingly obvious to them that they have handed Tinubu his second term on a platter of gold. Now that they know they've lost, their only response is to threaten for war They are the same people that decieved my respected elder brother

Bauchi NDC: The next 10 days present an opportunity for a new Governorship candidate 1. As someone who supports the NDC and hopes to see the party succeed across Nigeria, I wish to offer some reassurance to fellow supporters following the resignation of Barrister Ibrahim Muhammad Kashim, the party's Bauchi governorship candidate. 2. There is no reason for unnecessary anxiety. 3. @BarrIbrahimK has every right to resign and pursue his political interests. His decision deserves respect. 4. But a political party is an institution, not the personal property of any individual. 5. Section 33 of the Electoral Act 2026 provides a pathway for replacing a candidate who formally withdraws, through fresh primaries within fourteen days. 6. If Kashim's formal withdrawal took effect on October 16, the relevant deadline would be October 30, just ten days from today. 7. I hope the Bauchi NDC leadership uses this opportunity to conduct a transparent primary and present a candidate with strong grassroots connections, political experience and a clear development agenda for Bauchi State. 8. There are dozens of capable individuals within the party who deserve the opportunity to serve. 9. Nothing about this resignation automatically brings the party's political ambitions to an end. 10. As a supporter of the NDC, I remain hopeful that the coming days will bring clarity, continuity and renewed confidence. 11. The party's next steps must now speak for themselves.

Our Igbo leaders encourage and enable them. When Hope Uzodimma allowed that Hajji flight to depart from Owerri to Saudi Arabia, what signal do you think that is being passing across? Hope that wanted to import them into Imo from their IDPs? Igbo leaders that are doing everything possible to establish "RUGA" and "Ranching" for them, knowing that that will entrench them in that community. What do you think is the Fight between Igbo leaders and IPOB, ESN, MNK? Igbo leaders want to trade everything possible to be in their good book for political purpose. There was a governor that collected Billions in exchange for RUGA, he used the money to build a university in his community, and then tried to move the RUGA to another community, that is the fight between him and that community till today, refused them any infra and community lost their traditional leader in the process. Its simple, the Northerner in the SE is not a net gain to the region, most of the time they are in the SE to steal, kill, and destroy.
Nigerian Sahelians, I really have personal questions. Growing up, I used to think criminals from the Sahel focused on the Sahel, while the Eastern criminals focused on the East. What is the new form of coming down to the South, especially the East to do these things knowing the country is fragile and this can cause persecution of your own people living peacefully in the South? Knowing the ethnic tensions & the hate for Islam in the East, what gives these Sahelian criminals the audacity to come and do these in the East, knowing fully well this can cause unrest?

DEFECTION OF SOME COMPROMISED CANDIDATES TO APC: GOOD RIDDANCE TO BAD RUBBISH - NDC It has come to the attention of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) that some candidates of our party have been bribed by the APC to defect to the ruling and ruinous All Progressives Congress (APC), obviously for pecuniary reasons. The NDC is fully aware of the desperate and malicious tactics of the APC, which has resorted to offering money, political appointments, and other material incentives to induce some money minded candidates of our party to jump ship and defect to its sinking fold. For those who have fallen for this bait, it is clear that they lack the values, virtues, and ideological commitment associated with our great party. They were never truly of us. To them, we say good riddance to bad rubbish, and we wish them luck in their political misadventures. In line with the provisions of the Electoral Act, 2026, the party will immediately conduct fresh congresses to elect credible, competent, and trustworthy candidates to replace the defectors in the affected constituencies We wish to reassure our teeming party members, supporters, and well-meaning Nigerians not to be perturbed by the antics of the ruling party in bribing a few of our members. These are the last kicks of a dying horse that has seen the handwriting on the wall of its imminent defeat. The NDC remains resolutely committed to its historic mission of rescuing our country from the vice grip of the buccaneers in power and giving Nigerians the good governance, security, and prosperity they so richly desire. A New Nigeria is POssible. We can do it! Signed: Osa Director Esq National Publicity Secretary National Democratic Congress (NDC) Abuja - 20th October, 2026

Why's Prof Utomi suddenly tweeting daily He's one of the people deceiving nwoke be anyi Prof Utomi doesn't know his ward in Delta Who are Dickson and Utomi working for
I arose to a morning meeting with a Diaspora patriot. He had plenty to talk about. He had returned from France to Nigeria in 2023 to vote. He said hundreds of them came to do so. Even though they believe their votes were made null by institutional predilections he was determined to do so again. He wanted commitment to vote protection and wanted to contribute to ideas on how to assure that is done. But the one thing I had no quick answer for was a response to filling INEC and state Institutions related to elections with APC people.
