Returning to the classrooms where his journey began, Connor spent the afternoon reading Better Than a Touchdown by @JalenHurts—a story about teamwork, perseverance, and supporting one another. The students were so excited as Connor fielded questions, sharing his lifelong passion for reading, learning, and football. Events like this highlight what makes our school district an incredible place to learn- the people! #Chiefs undrafted rookie LT Kahlil Benson on Monday night: • 32 pass-blocking snaps • 1 pressure allowed (3.2% rate). • Excellent in the run game His story is unreal: Benson won a National Championship at Indiana last season but went undrafted and unsigned. He attended Chiefs camp as a tryout player alongside 75+ players, earned a contract, made the 53-man roster, started Week 1—and balled out against Denver’s vaunted defense. Per @NextGenStats, Benson allowed the fewest pressures among all rookie OTs in Week 1, which includes 3 first-round picks.

Sadly, we couldn’t make it to their Destination Wedding, but the former @UMichFootball QB & protege of @devingardnerXCI (seen here at the nuptials)so happy for him. Jack’s got a great future imo on the air, and has been well trained spotting for my partner fall Saturdays.
