Combining @InterluneSpace’s lunar expertise with @vermeercorp’s terrestrial experience to help build the @NASA Moon Base is an obvious (and awesome) move! 🌖
Today, Interlune and @vermeercorp expanded our partnership beyond lunar excavation to develop the critical infrastructure and services needed for a permanent human presence on the Moon—moving from prototypes toward reliable, scalable lunar operations. ❤️ Read more here: interlune.space/press-releas…

One of the great things about the @InterluneSpace plan is that it doesn’t require going to the lunar South Pole, which is hard to land at. We’re going to regions that are much better understood and easier to land and operate in.
NASA has long eyed the moon's south pole for its first crewed Artemis landing. But Artemis II astronaut Victor Glover says the agency should target an easier and safer place to touch down. space.com/space-exploration/…

This.
The moon was always the long game. And the Interlune team is building a bridge to it—serving quantum computing's need today while the lunar mission matures. Revenue before you're on the surface, building the foundation for the harvest yet to come. 🌕✨

Thanks to @EdLudlow and the @BloombergTV team for having CEO Rob Meyerson on the show today to talk about 🧊Cold Capture 🧊, Interlune’s new method of harvesting helium-3 from helium to support the immediate need of the quantum computing industry. As always, Ed expertly breaks down science-heavy news for his business - and tech-savvy - viewers. 📺 Watch the segment here on @Bloomberg Tech: bloomberg.com/news/videos/20…

One of the most epic moments in our species’ history happened on this day in 1969. Our generation is going back to the Moon to make the next epic era 🌖
On July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins, the crew of Apollo 11, showed the world that America can undertake and achieve the near-impossible. The pioneers and heroes of that era inspired generations of astronauts, pilots, explorers, engineers, scientists, and technicians, many of whom now show up to work each day at @NASA and across the most technologically advanced aerospace industry on Earth. President Reagan called for our return to the Moon, but @POTUS gave us Artemis, the National Space Policy, and the resources in the Working Family Tax Cut Act. Now the best and brightest across YOUR space agency, alongside industry and our international partners, will deliver. America is going back. We will fulfill Gene Cernan's immortal words from Apollo 17: "God willing, as we shall return, with peace and hope for all mankind." Artemis III is up next in 2027. Artemis IV lands in 2028. The Moon Base project is already underway...and America will never give up the Moon again.

Turns out there’s a tiny amount of helium-3 in all terrestrial helium and we figured out how to extract it using the same technology we will use on the Moon. There isn’t enough helium-3 on Earth to meet our customers’ needs, but it’s a good stepping stone to the Moon.
Nobody outside the building knew the world had just gotten a little more resilient. That’s the first line of today’s post by Interlune CTO Gary Lai, writing about the quiet moment behind Cold Capture. Find out why this is a story everyone should care about. #Helium3 #ColdCapture #QuantumComputing

We’re making helium-3 on Earth as a stepping stone to the Moon - using the same technology and enabling early deliveries to our customers 🎈
Today we announced Cold Capture™: tech that's demonstrated 99% pure helium-3 from Grade A helium. Rolled out broadly, it could triple U.S. supply — critical for quantum computing. #Helium3 #QuantumComputing #SpaceResources #DeepTech

The @MorganStanley report on @SpaceX this week says helium-3 could be the Moon's most strategically important resource and clearest example of why lunar infrastructure matters. Very cool to see one of the biggest names in investment agreeing with @InterluneSpace 🌖 🚀 📈

What do a few stainless steel kegs at @LancasterUni reveal about the future of quantum computing? (Fantastic tee Dmitry Zmeev) In this excellent @BBC feature, @ChrisBaraniuk uses an unexpected opening to explain the science, scarcity, and growing importance of helium-3 (our #1 favorite isotope, of course). 😍 Well worth a read. bbc.com/news/articles/ce8jmg… #Helium3 #QuantumComputing

I could spend all week in the Lunar and Planetary Institute’s library reading the technical and science debriefs from the Apollo missions. These are all just for Apollo 17!

We’re gonna need a bigger team… Momentum is building across the space industry, and Interlune is in the thick of it as we create the fundamental infrastructure needed to operate on the Moon and beyond. Last week, we learned that NASA selected the Astrolab team, which includes Interlune, to deliver its Crewed Lunar Vehicle (CLV-1) rover. Veteran space industry operator @c_iacomini is on board as the Interlune program manager, and we’ve opened new roles to round out this team. 💠 Electrical Engineer 💠 Lead Lunar Environments Scientist 💠 Lunar Environment Modeling and Simulation Scientist 💠 Lunar Surface Systems Engineer 💠 Lunar Surface Test Engineer 💠 Materials Engineer 💠 Senior Materials Engineer 💠 Mechanical Engineer In addition to the rover project, Interlune is hiring for several other positions, including mechanical and systems engineers, as well as a 💠 Director of Business Development. We’re hiring in Seattle and Houston, so check out the Careers Page to learn more about open positions and what it’s like to work at Interlune! interlune.space/careers

We’re proud to welcome @c_iacomini as the Interlune program manager for the @Astrolab_Space Crewed Lunar Vehicle (CLV-1) team! 💪 🎉 As you might have heard, Interlune is part of the team delivering the Astrolab lunar rover to support astronaut operations and science activities on the Moon. Interlune has an experienced team, and Christie takes it to another level. She has decades of experience spanning NASA, Blue Origin, Paragon Space Development Corporation, and Lockheed Martin, where she, among other things: 🔷 Simulated and flight-tested gliding parachutes for NASA’s X-38/CRV program 🔷 Developed the flight suit that protected record-setting skydiver Alan Eustace from the freezing temperatures and near-vacuum pressure of the stratosphere 🔷 Hired and led the early development team for Blue Origin’s Blue Moon (now Mk1) lander At Interlune, she’ll lead the team of engineers and scientists that will define the lunar environment, design a detailed regolith simulant, and oversee testing for the Astrolab CLV-1. #LTVS #NASAMoonBase #NewInterluner #LunarEconomy

We go where we need to be, and today that was @NASAKennedy. Some of my senior engineers and I spent time at @blueorigin with @JeffBezos and @davill, speaking with the workforce and seeing the damage at LC-36 firsthand. I appreciated the opportunity to hear directly from those working through the aftermath and better understand the challenges ahead. There is a lot of work to do, but this is exactly why people choose careers in aerospace, whether at NASA, Blue Origin, or across the industry. The talent in this field thrives under pressure and performs at its best when solving the toughest problems. We have been saying for months at NASA that we are not going to sit on our hands and wait for the capabilities necessary to achieve the nation’s most pressing objectives. We are going to take an active role alongside our partners, just as we did in the 1960s, to overcome setbacks, remove obstacles, and deliver the intended outcomes. @NASA is committed to helping the Blue team recover, continue to advance their lunar lander and get New Glenn back to launching as soon as safely possible. America’s greatest achievements in space were never the result of avoiding setbacks. They came from overcoming them. We have done it before, and we will do it again🇺🇸
