If true then the Red Wings are free to suspend Larkin for the rest of the season.
Chris Johnston on Insider Trading says the Wild have put 2 roster players and multiple 1st RD picks on the table in talks, but that hasn't been enough for Detroit to get it done.

Barkov and Marchand have resumed skating, per Maurice. Both are on track. 4 weeks left for Barkov; 3 weeks left for Marchand. "We're happy with where they're at."

There were talks in the the last 24 hours between Larkin's camp and the Red Wings, both last night and again this morning, and what was communicated from the agents to Detroit was that Larkin feels he's given the team ample time since his trade request in May to get a deal done. Larkin has had enough, so decision was made he won't play tonight nor for foreseable future hoping a trade materializes. Fluid situation still. Red Wings circling back to teams with interest, etc., as talks escalate.

If Leonard is the cost, Caps should say no.
My understanding is #LGRW Dylan Larkin’s camp have been told to expect news on a trade within the next 48 hours. Both #gobolts and #allcaps have emerged as favorites proposing very compelling offers. Hearing F Ryan Leonard may be in play

So Larkin's going to be held out of the lineup until a trade is completed. I thought about the Hellebuyck trade being the first domino to fall in yesterday's power rankings.
Connor Hellebuyck's trade to the New Jersey Devils has led to some massive changes around @jasonchen16’s weekly power rankings: thehockeynews.com/news/lates…

We will see how Horcoff addresses this, but it sounds like current plan is for Larkin not to play until he his traded.
DET coach Todd McLellan just told reporters Dylan Larkin will not play tonight and GM Shawn Horcoff will address the situation

great work here! I can corroborate these. not all details align with info I have but generally they’re on target.
In case you’re more of a squinting person than a scrolling person… We now have TWENTY of the upcoming Hometown Remix jerseys, nearly 2/3rds of the league. Who’s in the lead for your favorite? 🍎: @abslswrld @carterrichardd

A message from Emily, Dustin, and the Byfuglien family to you, Winnipeg 💙 I’ve been trying to find the right words to describe what this weekend meant to our family, and I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to do it justice. Winnipeg, you gave us something this weekend that I didn’t realize how much I needed. A goodbye we never really got to have. The way our chapter in Winnipeg ended wasn’t how any of us imagined it would. There were a lot of emotions, a lot left unsaid, and a goodbye that never really happened. For years, I’ve carried a little sadness about that. Not because of the hockey, but because of the people. Because Winnipeg was never just about hockey to us. It was a city that embraced our family, watched our children grow, celebrated with us, and stood behind us through so many incredible years. The friendships, the memories, the familiar faces in the stands, and the kindness we experienced are things I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Coming back this weekend and feeling that same love after all these years was overwhelming in the most beautiful way. Every hug, every kind word, every person who stopped us to share a memory or simply say hello reminded me just how special this city and its people truly are. I know the ending was complicated. I know there were feelings on all sides. But this weekend reminded me that sometimes the love and memories you leave behind are bigger than the way a chapter ends. And maybe that’s what made this weekend so emotional. We finally got to feel the goodbye we missed, and it was more beautiful than I could have imagined. To the fans who loved and supported our family for all those years, and who welcomed us back like no time had passed, thank you. You gave us more than you probably realize. Winnipeg will always hold a piece of my heart. Not because of the games, the wins, or the hockey, but because of the people who made it feel like home. Some chapters don’t end the way we hoped. But sometimes, if we’re lucky, we get one more moment to remember just how beautiful they were. Thank you, Winnipeg. For all of it. Xo

Wrote a bit about #njdevils Gritsyuk in my Week 5 primer and the stats don't lie. Link: thehockeynews.com/nhl/fantas…
Arseny Gritsyuk is one of the fastest risers in Net Rating in the leage right now. He's still working on his first skill badge but he's running the table on outcome badges -- his team is out chancing and out scoring opponents and he's involved in the goals. He's currently a borderline top line forward.
