TO THEM ALL YOU TWEETED IS 'STORIES' THEY ARE SO IMPOVERISHED IN THEIR THINKING
There's a gentleman on Twitter that sold and I still believe, currently sells Coca-Cola, who was a notorious APC supporter during Buhari's regime. I can't remember when last I saw him on the timeline. He listened to no one who warned him that his "hustle" might not yield any dividend; he never listened but carried on with his soft drinks merchandising. At a point, Dipo CV invited him to an event of APC scoundrels somewhere in Lagos, and as usual, he came, heavily drenched in sweat, to sell 'coke.' Snapped and posted the pictures online as per "my business is moving." I don't think he was educated. Maybe a primary/secondary school leaver, and his name escapes me but I believe it starts with "E." He was persistent in the hopes, I perceive, that he could garner some social capital based on his travails on behalf of the APC. Months later, he's been relegated to nothingness. When I look back at people that supported APC who were uneducated, barely literate, but persistent, I see a recurring theme of abandonment. At least, if he had garnered a little social proof by acquiring followers like "Pst" Okezie, there would have been some use left of him. But that theme is consistent of APC supporters on and offline. They have so much faith that their own case will be different, while things turn out worse and worse as time goes by. I get sad on one hand, but on the other hand, I understand that it's just cosmic justice: your support of APC will relegate you into the cesspit of nothingness. Before you'll realize this, it may be too late.

Standard Chartered and Citi banks are already in Nigeria. They are UK and U.S headquartered respectively. Please what did they add to the Nigerian economy? JP Morgan already had a representative office in Nigeria before now. They are only just applying for a commercial banking licence. It's easy to anyone who has eyes that JP Morgan being in Nigeria is to the benefit of the ruling class -- a way to borrow more, create inroads to international markets, for their own benefits. Ask anyone around you who has a Citi Bank account, your guess is as good as mine. Be wise and vote wisely.

ON ISLAM. I have seen hardened criminals who became softer than a feather after accepting Jesus Christ. I have seen hardened cultists who cried and intermittently wept at the thought of their past misdeeds, and wore forgiveness and piety as a garb. I have seen hardened men touched by Jesus, to the point where, I, who grew up in a Christian home, doubt whether I'm truly Christian. I have NEVER seen someone who accepts Islam become a better person by reason of that acceptance. They become colder, meaner, more vindictive. Because by Islamic principles, you don't have an incentive to be better as a person. This is why: as long as your "good" deeds outweigh your "bad" deeds, you're good. That's why a Muslim can behead a kid for mocking the pedophile, Mohammed, today, and feel extremely happy afterwards because he gave some poor people 50k and, by that, has procured rewards in Al Jannah. It is the most unspiritual of religions. At least, the Buddhist or Hindu aspires to a greater self by meditation and whatnot. Islam aims for crass domination that aspires to nothing except the vile thoughts of a harem filled with "virgins" with whom they can explore their predatory fantasies. It's also a culture of theft, envy and jealousy. Islam doesn't care about your culture or way of life, to the point of your dressing, and how you use the bathroom. It's a concoction of an illiterate wanderer who couldn't become anything in the real world so allowed himself to be possessed with demons of anarchy. This bloodlust is not just outwards it's also inwards facing. If they can't see an external reason to fight others, however trivial, they look to themselves and self-consume with glee. The sight of blood to them is ecstatic and the more bloodshot your eyes are, the more likelihood you can become an "islamic general." That's why there's no competent Arab army the world over, they lack the unity of being top even in a field they brag about. Their prayers are indoctrinations, their lifestyles are projections, their aspirations are infatuations, and their principal goal is domination. It's a cult of death that helps no one, including its most fervent adherents. Partly because Islam is the progressive corrosion of one's conscience. Wherever you see a good muslim, know you've found one who doesn't believe follow the teachings of the quran.

Thank you so much for the love and recognition! 🙏🏾 A proud moment for our culture and the stories we get to tell. AFRICA is blessed with incredible storytellers and creative minds across different cultures. There’s so much beauty in our diversity, and when African stories thrive, we all win.
This is Nigeria’s first culturally dominant legacy blockbuster since Ajileye’s Koto Aiye. Budget will top N1billion. As far as the African continent is concerned, just leave creativity and art for Yorubas. No other people come close.

In 2019, one of my ex-bosses who was a very staunch APC supporter called me into his office one day and said, "Johnmark, if you come to my village, you Igbos have taken over everywhere." I asked him, "how, what did they do?" He told me point blank that the youth in his village have nothing to do because the Igbos now sell everything there, and are buying up their property. This was 7am in the morning, I just resumed work at Alausa. Fast forward to today, the progenitors of "na statistics we go chop?" have now inundated my last posts with a statistical paper reference from the tabloid, "Statisense," which apparently, places the South East as the poorest in the South. These emergency lovers of statistics have suspended the eye test -- well-grounded anecdotal evidence apparent in every locale in the South about the immense significance of the Igbos to both do business, and invest in where they are domiciled, however temporal. In most of Yoruba land, your leaders have made you leeches. You've trademarked "owo dá" and other appellations that qualify this fact. By the way, no, the person who sells to you by offering services to you, while you hand over monetary value, is not leeching off you. A leech, by definition, is a one-dimensional beneficiary of a 'transaction.' For instance, there's a lot of revenue from the port in Lagos. But everyone knows who imports most of those containers in the Nigerian port. So paper statistics showing "revenue from Lagos" means nothing to those who know the truth. The biggest employer of labour in the South West currently is political patronage. This is a place where it's a norm to see folks in their 50's dobaale-ing to their political suitors, for their daily bread. It's beyond a pandemic, it's now normalized, such that questioning it becomes an act of rebellion and labels such as "Yoruba buts" are given to those who dare. Your leaders have failed you. Most of your claimed land isn't actually yours. And you have never seen war like the East and North have. So, instead of thumping your chest online and screenshotting paper stats that have no bearing on reality, why not humble yourselves, be more productive, leave political thuggery on and offline, and be made free.

At the age of 6 or 7, this little girl is placing soil into the graves of both her mother and father. The "crime" committed by her parents was that they had kissed each other while filming a video (a "reel") inside a mosque in Saudi Arabia.
Community note
The video is from May 2026 and depicts a girl at her father's funeral in an unrelated context, not connected to the two Bangladeshis executed in Saudi Arabia for an indecent act in a mosque. khaleejtimes.com/world/gulf/sau… x.com/ab12o3/status/…

Lol the last time Nigeria was actually defeating Boko Haram was when an Igbo man was Chief of Army Staff. Lt Gen Azubuike Ihejirika, 2010 to 2014. He created the 7th Division, armed the soldiers and took territory back. For once Boko Haram was losing. Then the conspiracy started from the North. Northern politicians, notably Muhammadu Buhari in his 2013 BBC Hausa interview, said the Federal Government was killing Northern youth and that Boko Haram fighters should get amnesty like Niger Delta militants. At the same time a whisper campaign spread. That this Igbo General was not fighting terror but using the war as a pretext to avenge the Civil War. An Igbo man who went to save Borno was accused of going to punish the North. To finish him an Australian negotiator Stephen Davis claimed Ihejirika himself was sponsoring Boko Haram. It made no sense. How can the hunter be accused of feeding the beast. Ihejirika denied it and went to court but the damage was done. In January 2014 he was removed. What happened after. The army collapsed. Boko Haram took 14 local governments, declared a caliphate in Gwoza, took Bama and Chibok. The man who was winning was removed because his victory did not serve politics. You politicized the army, turned promotion to patronage and justice to tribe. Now you call on Igbo youths who value their lives to bring those lives to your altar of bloodlust. To die for an army that sits on a mat with terrorists in the North and parades Igbo boys half naked on the road in the South East. An Igbo man is not built for hypocrisy. Our culture celebrates only integrity and accountability. This is why they stay away.
It's looking like the Commander is begging now, but in the long run the Southeast will end up regretting the decision made by their sons and daughters of not joining the Military. #Sentinel

This woman here is Oluyemi Titilayo Adeyemi-Showunmi. She is the wife of Segun Showunmi @SegunShowunmi She was newly appointed by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Director of Electoral Operations at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). You can now know the reason why Segun Showunmi is all out attacking and threatening Nigerians with treason for demanding electoral fairness and credible elections in 2027. Truly, Segun Showunmi has collected rice. What other evidence do you need? PURE CONFLICT OF INTEREST Nigerians must defend their votes by all necessary means necessarily and at whatever cost. I challenge Segun Showunmi to deny this.

I'll give you just 5 reasons for my support of Peter Obi. My support is predicated on the word, "antecedent." Meaning, we can adjudge a man's future by what he did with his Executive Powers at his past. If we assess Peter Obi's case for the presidency based on his record as governor of Anambra State from 2006 to 2014, here are 5 points: 1. Peter Obi (@PeterObi) prioritised education as an investment in the future. His administration invested in school rehabilitation, classroom construction, teacher recruitment, computers, internet access, and science laboratories. It also returned mission schools to their original owners, with government funding continuing to support teachers and school operations. Anambra subsequently recorded strong NECO examination performance between 2011 and 2013. A president who understands education as a foundation for economic growth will prioritise teacher quality, technical education, digital literacy, and employable skills nationwide. 2. He strengthened healthcare infrastructure Under Obi, Anambra developed the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, expanded maternal and child healthcare facilities, and supported the upgrading and accreditation of health institutions. His administration also supported mission hospitals, helping them improve facilities and meet accreditation requirements. As President, he will strengthen primary healthcare, improve access to affordable treatment, and reduce the pressure that pushes Nigerians to seek medical care abroad. Based on his antecedents, this will be top priority. 3. He invested in infrastructure beyond major urban centres His administration undertook road and bridge projects connecting communities that had long struggled with poor access. One notable example was the bridge across the Odor River linking Awgbu and Amaokpala. The administration also developed roads in previously underserved parts of Anambra West. Most rural, (EMPHASIS on rural) roads in Anambra that has stood the test of time were executed by Peter Obi's Admin. 4. He promoted technology in public education His government supplied computers to secondary schools, introduced Microsoft Academies in hundreds of schools, and expanded internet connectivity across the public education system. These initiatives reflected an understanding that technology could improve learning and prepare young people for a changing economy. Based on this, Peter Obi leading a national technology agenda will expand digital skills, improve public-sector productivity, and help young Nigerians participate in the global digital economy. 5. He provides a record that voters can scrutinise Another reason for Obi is that his eight years in Anambra offer a substantial record against which voters can assess his claims about governance, public spending, education, healthcare, and infrastructure. His administration's budgets, handover documents, public projects, and policy decisions provide material for evaluating both achievements and shortcomings. Peter Obi will normalize scrutiny just like GEJ, whose Admin fostered the Freedom of Innovation (FoI) bill. For a Government predicated on accountability, the citizens will be in control. I'm not attempting to convince you. I penned this down as evidence that some of us have concrete reasons for our support of the eminent gentleman, Mr. Peter Obi.
All I’m seeing here is “he’s going to change Nigeria” Some of you are just like wizkid and Davido fans, no better reason to convince people 🤦🏾‍♂️

I don't know about you, but I worked as an I.T professional for many years. If my Pastor comes to say 5G tech is the cause of COVID, I'll think twice. If that same Pastor "teaches" me the correct posture to squat and defecate, I'll know something is wrong somewhere. If that same Pastor kicks against Covid vaccine which is debatable, but then pronounces ALL VACCINES as harmful while also owning a modern hospital, I'll be assured there's fire on the mountain. If that same Pastor claims he's building his own internet and forming his own Nation, then I'll know I've been deceived totally. Some of you have been so manipulated and controlled, you are just like Grok -- no sentience, just automatons.
