I was watching this and literally yelling WTF. My 3 and 5 year old kids asked, “Daddy, what’s happening?” 🤣 Okay, this is a flying car, not the silly airplanes with wheels for roads we’ve seen before. Likely a safety feature, not for long flights, but WOW!

DHH is probably one of the top software artisans of the past decade. Hearing him speak with this much conviction and transparency about one of the most polarizing topics in software right now, writing code by hand vs. with AI, is something pretty much every software engineer should hear a few times. Especially those still on the wrong side of history.

New Jaguar: the rear is genuinely interesting. The front is OK-ish, but a bit too square, and the roofline feels too low. Overall, it works, but I think this design will age very quickly. And the initial marketing is a disaster. Imagine you need to live with those ppl.

Everyone is shipping “personal AI assistants,” but most people have never had a human personal assistant. So what the hell are they supposed to ask it to do? A human assistant teaches you what to delegate. These bots just give you 10 canned examples and wait. And I think that’s the biggest problem nobody is talking about…
