sometimes you can tell a polycule is a competition to be the one who gets chosen when the Main One decides to go monogamous

don't donate to anymore politicians. or the women's march. donate to local mask blocs. donate to local mutual aid orgs. donate to abortion funds. the dems raised $1 billion for this campaign & it's all gone now. put your $ where it's truly needed.

When disabled people ask “what happens to disabled people?” And we are met with “not everything’s about you?” This is what we mean. Have you seen any physically disabled people evacuated from Gaza? Because I have yet to. …and that is the point.

It occurs to me in rewatching Christina Applegate’s #Emmys remarks she briefly refers to DEAD TO ME as “probably my last job” The thing is, so many of the people who rose to their feet to applaud and cry could change that in no time. A lot of disabled folks wonder if they will

Ok I don’t think I like this: let’s normalize people participating in society with a disability so that we don’t do standing ovations for just being “brave” enough to not disappear

getting any 'support' through the State is basically to be forced into austerity. and that's if you are lucky enough to qualify. the response of "the state should take care of this, not us" in the State's current iteration is not actually progressive politics, babes.
If I see one more person suggesting using meals on wheels for food delivery I will scream. None of you fucks know anything about disability or about eligibility or about quality of life or about literally anything. I’m so over this.

Wheelchair users have been trying for ages to raise awareness about their wheelchairs being broken so often when they fly, and the devastating impact this has on them. @AmericanAir baggage handlers decided to give a demonstration of how much they enjoy breaking them 😡

Before we decided to stay in our current place (with a sketchy but working elevator) we almost moved into a basement apartment in park slope, because it was going to be more reliable than landlords maintaining elevators. Being a wheelchair user in this city is brutal.
