Today marks 3 months since I've moved to Norway. That's 25% of 2026 –– and it seems almost unfathomable to believe. I remember 3 years ago as a 1st year university student, crouched in my dorm back in California, dreaming of the world out there. A very pure sense of wonder brewing about that still largely dictates the life I live today. The first abroad took me to China, then to Singapore, and now... in Norway. I saw a tweet the other day about the idea of chiastic time – life unfolding around a sacred center. My sacred center started in China, rediscovering the world in its full beauty and splendor. A singular decision that has led me to creating my greatest works of music, films, writing – but perhaps just as meaningful, sharing collective adventures and experiences with kindred spirits from all parts of the world. There are days now where it feels like you're dancing amongst the stars with the universe. There are days where you feel the mission you're on is crystallizing brighter as the weeks and months go by. My time in Norway is soon coming to a close. In 1.5 months, the adventures will lead back home. Back to California, where more of the story is yet to be written. There is much to work on. But have never been more excited. Follow your wonder.

There's a certain beauty pursuing knowledge for knowledge's sake. Think of the intellectual. They sit there, unhurried, reading 3-4 hours for the simple love of learning something new. I sometimes feel I rush moving from traditional education to work. "I cannot wait to work," I tell myself – as I lazily skim through readings on economics or philosophy, convincing myself there were more obvious things to apply into my life. Work tells you – the faster you apply the knowledge, the better. Work rewards action. But what if we allow ourselves to pursue knowledge without having it to be immediately applicable? I bought a few books from a bookstore this past weekend after spending 2-3 hours there, and to be frank, it's been some time since I had last felt the touch of a physical book. But in an almost cathartic way, I felt the call of reading again. But this time, for the sake of nourishing my intellectual soul. How many of us are digesting information because we frantically default to merely using it as a vehicle to get from A to B? How many of us are actually enjoying this journey of immersive learning, of the experience of reading itself? Perhaps it is time to be the intellectual.
