So proud of our 8th and 9th grade Jr. High team! It’s been fun watching this group grow in our program and earn back-to-back Metro titles! 35 PPG on offense. Just 10 PPG allowed. Outscored opponents 63-0 across two playoff games.

Noooooooo say it ain’t so 😫

The Raiders take down Hartfield Academy to capture the North State Championship and will advance to the State Championship series to take on the Simpson Academy Cougars! #WeAreLamar

Congratulations to our junior high boys and junior high girls track and field teams on winning back to back district championships! Great job by Coach Norwood, his staff, and all the athletes who made back to back titles possible! #WeAreLamar

Losing a baseball game on March 1st that we could’ve/should’ve won vs the #1 team in the country, and people overreacting, is awesome. WE ARE BACK BABY. #Omadawgs2026

𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤. The MRA Patriots welcomed back a familiar face on Monday as Jacob Land officially signed on as Offensive Coordinator for the 2026 season. This marks Land’s second stint as the Patriots’ Offensive Coordinator after previously holding the role during the 2021 season, when the Pats captured the State Championship. Land brings a proven championship résumé, having been part of seven state championships—six as an assistant coach and one as a head coach. Most recently, he led the Lamar School Raiders to the 2025 state title. He will also serve as the Middle School Dean of Students, where his heart for young people and his ability to connect with students and parents alike will play a key role in fostering strong relationships across campus.  “We are excited to have Jacob back on staff,” said Head Football Coach Herbert Davis. “He embodies everything we value. Our culture, a championship pedigree, and being a Godly man.”

Raider fans, make plans to come out to Lamar Gymnasium this Wednesday at 10AM as we hold our winter signing day ceremony! #WeAreLamar
