Introducing ChatGPT for Dishwashing GPT-6 achieves state-of-the-art results on dishwashing benchmarks for long-running jobs and difficult stains. 1/ AI helped me edit this video, but not in the way most of these "AI agentic video editing" startups claim. In this thread 🧵 I'll show you what AI actually helped me with, and it's pretty boring. I think the AI agentic demos are mostly bullshit, since I haven't met anyone who used these AI video editors. Feel free to prove me wrong though and let me use your AI video editor for free. Anyway, back to my own video and how AI edited my video:

13/ I used Higgsfield to make some small changes. I turned the Tupperware more orange. And I added steam out of the dishwasher and onto my glasses.

14/ Lots of other small things that saved me hours of editing or money if I would have outsourced it: - Leveling and EQ-ing the audio - Organizing my premiere pro files and folders - Replacing the footage with color-graded footage (by a professional, not AI) - Creating Captions - Script writing/ideation - Research for the script (Navier-Strokes, never understood it until now) What I wish I had for AI editing: - Expanding video using AI for 9x16 ratios or 16x9. Kinda like this academy.runwayml.com/tutoria… but integrated into existing software. - AI Music Composition where it understand the tone and what's happening in the video. And you can tell it 'sync points' to hit. - Organize different takes of the same shot, so you can easily swap between takes and see which one you like more. AI is great if you want average results for extremely cheap. And sometimes average is all you need, allowing you to put effort into things that matter more. However, that's different for each creator/project. Making great videos is all about choosing the right compromises for the project.

I launched a new app called LockFeed. Let's see how much revenue I can get to if I leverage my whole 2.3M subscribers on YouTube. LockFeed helps you reduce your screen time by quizzing you on something you care about before you scroll. Like for me, it's the guitar fretboard. This is Episode 4 of 10K or Bust. In this video I pivoted from my AI portrait making app to this more simple screen time app. What I've learned: - Meta Ads Manager is so cumbersome to use. Just ask Codex with Computer Use to do it for you. - You can look at your competitors Meta ads they're running, so you can just copy it. Higgsfield SuperComputer, who sponsored this video, taught me that. - These super simple apps charge $50/year or more, which is why they can afford to spend so much on ads. A lot of them should just be replaced by cheaper alternatives. Like Opal charges $239/year??? - I got rejected 5 times from the App Store, and I thought it was because of my predatory app design. But it's actually just because I didn't check a box for the Family Controls certificate... And App Store review is so ambiguous they wouldn't tell me. Download LockFeed: apps.apple.com/us/app/lockfe…

Sorry about that, I just needed clean dishes.
BREAKING: Terence Tao and 24 other Fields Medalists just signed a letter telling AI companies they're destroying mathematics >headlines: AI solves famous math problems >25 greatest mathematicians respond today >"we are witnessing a general threat to intellectual work" >ai labs are treating math problems like a benchmark you can brute force >“solutions are announced in a rush, leaving no time for a proper writeup and citing relevant previous work of others" >they're talking about openai >"this raises severe attribution and plagiarism questions" >they're definitely talking about openai >openai offered to put math professor name on navier-stokes proof >condition: abandon his coauthor bc he works at anthropic >"the most precious resources of our profession are students and ideas" >for the labs the most precious resource is GPUs A Severe Misalignment of AI in Mathematics

I’ll make a video on this if I get 100 likes
My dream had always been to prove beautiful theorems as the AI agents unloaded my dishwasher. Well, it went the wrong way... 😂

Episode 3: When you have no idea what you're doing with UGC Creators, this is what happens... I hired a UGC creator, which was surprisingly cheap. $30 per video. But they wanted bonuses. I don't want to give bonuses though. I made $0 on my app so far. She went on the make a few videos on Instagram and a few of them for 2000 views. I still got 0 sales though. I probably need to pivot my app.
