If there's a nit to be picked with the $SPCX #SpaceX report, it's that #Starlink consumer subscribers at 13.6 million came in light of UBS expectations of 14.3M y/y. But still up 89%. The stock's up after hours on the headline beats.

With Salesforce’s $5.66B bid for $BRZE, the question for the market has to be: Should investors have seen more value where Benioff does? Specialist software names have underperformed in an AI infrastructure-driven market. Braze is a textbook example:

I see we have reached the Five Nights at Freddy’s chapter of the simulation
Introducing Hugo: the first human companion robot. At Boston Dynamics, I was Chief Strategy Officer, bringing robots into the real world. My co-founder, Farbod Farshidian, led research at the RAI Institute. Together, 15+ years teaching robots to run, jump, and work. So we asked: what if robots could connect with people? Hugo runs on the first Vision-Language-Expression (VLE) model. He links what he sees and hears to movement, expression, and gesture. He notices you, reads the room, and reacts in real time. And he's only the first. Dynamic Creatures is @BostonDynamics' official entertainment and hospitality partner. We're building a cast of characters with film studios, resorts, and theme parks. dynamiccreatures.com

$CRWV is still trading well above its $40/share IPO price from March 2025, but way off its June 2025 highs above $180 a share, as #neocloud #AI stocks have been under pressure.

Strip energy out and producer prices still rose 0.7% in September. That could put pressure on the Fed to hike again this year.

It was a rough day for $DELL shares in the #CPI-driven sell-off, but don't forget the context: Shares are up 4x in 2026.

It’s so weird how the long-form CEO interview is getting commoditized. I feel like I’ve seen Satya Nadella do a half dozen in the last two months. I wonder if the value is about to shift from simply showing what they said to pulling signal from it. But that would require a content business model that doesn’t rely on mass attention.

The real issue with this morning's hot #CPI inflation read isn't the 3.7% headline y/y – it's the .3% core m/m (ex food and energy), when .2% was expected. Despite what you see below, the 0.1-point upside surprise was broad, not shelter-led. Shelter firming 0.3→0.4% explains about half of it; the rest is discretionary/goods pricing the Fed watches for pass-through: used cars +0.7%, recreation +0.5%, airline fares +1.2%, apparel +0.3%, new vehicles +0.2%, medical +0.1%.

Results from chip equipment maker $ASML appeared to meet a high bar, with revenue matching expectations, EPS beating (thanks to high-margin Installed Base Management upgrades) and gross margins above the guided range. Guidance beat on the top line.

How much are prices up? Tomorrow's headline #CPI (consumer price index) report is expected to be +3.6% y/y. Here's where the Bureau of Labor Statistics numbers have come in for the past several months.

Chips are having a rough few days ahead of $ASML earnings tomorrow. Equipment maker ASML's €11–12B guide brackets the ~€11.7B consensus, but Q3 2026 is ASML's first quarter with no net-bookings figure – so it's less clear what the stock will move on.
