New details from @AndrewMarchand on the ruptured relationship between Joe Buck and Troy Aikman:
Buck confronted Aikman: “You are not going to fu**ing talk to me?”
Aikman believes Buck played a role in his uncertain ESPN future and the repeated turnover of producers and directors.
Buck: “I’m not the reason you don’t have a contract.”
Aikman: “I just never thought you’d do it to me.”
Buck: “They got rid of them because you were screaming at them.”
Based on the actions ESPN has taken, it’s clear the network has sided with Buck, leaving Aikman’s future beyond this season in serious doubt.
