I'm seeing a lot of people who want the 4-3-3 back suggesting a midfield of Rodri, Pedri and Frenkie. But honestly, I think this setup would actually be much more balanced if we ever returned to the 4-3-3.
Rodri-Pedri-Frenkie would be fantastic as a late-game change when you want to control possession and see out a result. But as a starting midfield that you rely on throughout the season, I think this setup offers a better balance.
Of course, all this talk is probably pointless since we're not going back to the 4-3-3 anytime soon. Just a thought I wanted to share.
