“I’ll tell you what, David,” one of my sources said. “You’re so concerned about antisemitism? Why don’t you look on X, at the bile that comes out of that platform, that he tweets and retweets—that’s who you want as an investor in your company?”

This week: Tasty unaired leftovers from our earlier conversations. First up: Eric Goode—restaurateur, hotelier and producer of Tiger King and Monsters of God. And more dish from marketing exec Gerry Rich.

A fun one if you like the dish on how things really work in Hollywood.
Marketing vet Gerry Rich has worked on films from Crying Game to War of the Worlds to Bond movies. In his new book, he tells a tale of “betrayal” by Josh Greenstein, now co-chair of Paramount and Warner film studios.
Plus @mattbelloni and I banter away.

My latest column. Marketing veteran Gerry Rich has a new book, and he has some words to say about Josh Greenstein, now co-head of the Paramount AND Warner film studios.
Plus: Why did Dana Walden shut down comments on her Instagram account?

Michael Ovitz on Ari Emanuel's book: “I work out like a madman, do take cold plunges (much to my chagrin), and get a lot of blood work, but refused to eat those worms he sent me. Felt like they were babies from the film Dune.”

I’m reading the WarnerMount hire of Mattel CEO Ynon Kreiz as a sign that Larry Ellison means to prevent a bonfire of money.
Larry’s good with numbers and sent in his troops when his daughter’s company started to hemorrhage.

I wrote this column yesterday about the widespread feeling in the industry that David Ellison lacks the experience and temperament to run one studio, much less two.
I also foreshadowed the resignation of Cindy Holland today.
What Hollywood really thinks about David Ellison and the Paramount-Warner deal.

We have Sharon Horgan! Her new show, Youth, is on HBO. She explains how she started writing because she got sick of waiting around for acting roles. Of course I asked if we’re getting more Bad Sisters.
Plus @MattBelloni and I banter bigly.

Netflix snapped up the rights to remake Lonesome Dove, as big fan David Ellison scrambles after finding out that his studio didn’t even bid.
(This has one of my favorite kickers ever, but I can’t take credit for it.)
