The current government have no capacity to run this city man. If not this, then street lights are not working. If not that, traffic lights are not working. As we speak, refuse was meant to be collected on Tuesday, yet black bins are still sitting outside the estate.

It's hilarious that it's a tragedy when the airport looks like this, but the working class deals with this everyday at taxi ranks all over the country. The class struggle is real.

The Cape Town International Airport situation is a stark reminder that policy decisions that do not consider the interests of the poor and working class will eventually be felt by the affluent and wealthy.

By the way, the DA has not solved any of CPT's problems; gang violence, transportation, housing, racism, discrimination, jobs etc.

Erica Gcasamba, 29, Missing After Reportedly Requesting Uber in Greenstone Concerns are mounting over the disappearance of 29-year-old Erica Gcasamba, who was reportedly last seen in Greenstone, Gauteng, on Saturday, 24 October 2026, after requesting an Uber to travel to a salon. Her family is appealing for public assistance as efforts continue to establish her whereabouts. Erica Gcasamba’s Disappearance: What We Know According to a missing-person notice, Erica was last seen between 10:00 and 10:30 on Saturday morning at a residential complex in Greenstone. The salon she reportedly intended to visit has not been identified in the information provided, and her movements after she was last seen remain unclear. Her family is urging anyone who may have seen her or witnessed anything that could assist the search to come forward. Identifying Features of the Missing Woman Erica is described as approximately 1.5 to 1.6 metres tall, with black hair and brown eyes. She reportedly has several distinctive tattoos, including stars around her neck and collarbone, wording on her chest, and a floral design on the inside of her right arm. The missing-person notice also identifies a Renault Sandero with registration number FX17TCGP as a vehicle associated with the reported Uber trip. The circumstances surrounding the vehicle and Erica’s journey have not been independently established. Police Appeal for Information Residents of Greenstone, Edenvale and surrounding areas are being asked to assist with information that could help trace Erica’s movements on the morning she disappeared. Uber drivers, salon employees and anyone who may have encountered her are particularly encouraged to contact the relevant authorities if they have information that could assist the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Edenvale SAPS on 011 553 8600 or Detective Monareng on 072 117 0015 or 074 021 0111. Public Assistance Could Prove Crucial As the search for Erica continues, members of the public are urged to share verified information with the police rather than circulate unconfirmed claims about her disappearance. Finding missing people requires timely reporting, thorough investigative work and cooperation between families, communities and law enforcement. Anyone with potentially relevant information should contact the authorities directly to help establish what happened to Erica and support efforts to locate her safely.

You ask DA to show you what improvement they’ve done for Khayelitsha and all of a sudden it’s a National issue.
Look nhe I don’t like the ANC but the DA act like they built Cape Town, they fully took over in 2009. ANC’s Ibrahim Rasool was Premier, and NomaIndia Mfeketho was mayor, and Cape Town was just fine. All the DA does is lie.

And if you're not happy about something specific, check which party leads the portfolio you're disappointed with and then vote accordingly. Many Joburgers on Twitter complain about the dark streets that are badly maintained, and the state of public transport. Informed decisions
And please bafethu Before going to the voting polls please have a look at who is currently governing your municipality If you’re happy you know what to do, if you’re not then it’s time for change Thank you 🤍
