For my first post as the new product lead for @googlechrome, I thought it would be fun to share my actual setup and how I work in Chrome.
I use vertical tabs and tab groups to keep everything organized. I have some tab groups for evergreen work (e.g. team management) and some for ephemeral projects (e.g. a big presentation).
I color code evergreen work as…. green. My most important projects are red, and other tasks are yellow or orange.
If you haven’t used vertical tabs or tab groups yet, give them a try and send me some feedback!

📢 @googlechrome is moving to a 2 week release cycle! More in goo.gle/4r2mmSK
Also, a short history on browser update frequency:
• 2001: MSFT shipped IE6 & didn't release a major update for 5+ YEARS! Safari updated ~annually
• 2010: Chrome commits to 6-week releases & automatic updates. (People called us crazy.)
• 2021: Chrome updates to 4-week releases. (People said it was too fast.)
• 2026: Chrome goes to 2-week releases. (Opinions TBD :)
Release early, release often for fresher features and faster fixes... especially important with AI vuln discovery! 💪

Can we please go back to that again instead of what we have now?

You might find this interesting -
We created the first WebMCP benchmark, comparing it with computer use and DOM-based methods across speed, cost, task success rate, and token usage. The results are incredible.
webmcp.com/benchmark
You’re getting 3-5x speed, and an order of magnitude cost improvement (up to 23x lower costs) while being 10-15% better at solving tasks compared to other methods
