Here's a proper breakdown of everything that happened during HackMeridian.
179 projects shipped in the window, 141 of them verified on-chain
919 builders deployed 3,221 contracts across 30 countries
All six winners are in the data, and all six are verified on-chain. Nest and Alloy took first place, and TroqPay, Booker Bob, 4ward and ZKross were runner-ups. Congrats to all of them!

The inspiration for HackProof came from a PR I came across on StellarLight. I reached out to my friends Row Bear and Nesho, and they wished me luck and told me not to take it personally if it drowned in everything happening around Meridian. Thank you @kalepail, @GuavaGlobal, @0ceans404, @logicarbitrage and everyone who took time out of their very busy schedules to repost.
I also added an AI chat to HackProof. If you took part, you can ask questions about other projects and work out how to prepare for #HackMeridian 2027.
Congrats on finishing Meridian. I can imagine how much relief @StellarEmir and the rest of the team are feeling, and I hope everyone gets home safely :3

A small moment that made my week 💜
At Meridian 2026, Denelle Dixon (@DenelleDixon), CEO of the Stellar Development Foundation, mentioned Rise In on the main stage, and one of our videos played on the big screen.
That video was short, but it came at the end of a week I put a lot into. Our team spent the week talking to people across the Stellar ecosystem and filming interviews, and I edited everything and turned out quick recaps while the moments were still fresh.
To keep up with that pace, I built my own Claude skill for our video workflow and put everything I know into it: how to pace an interview, where to cut, how subtitles and name cards should look, what makes a recap worth watching. It handled the repetitive work, and I focused on the story.
This week reminded me how much the marketer's role has changed. It's no longer enough to write the post or brief the video. A marketer today needs to understand the story, the audience, the edit and the AI tools behind it, and know how to connect them. Not to replace the team, but to move at the speed the team and the moment need.
AI won't make you a better marketer on its own. Knowing your craft, and knowing exactly when and how to bring AI in, will.
