Instead of scrolling on my phone today I have instead been obsessed with getting the LED lighting installed on my Lego set. (I’m cool.) The instructions are very detailed but there are some instances where the wires would be exposed and overlap the displays and it’s incompatible with my obsessive compulsiveness So I’ve been trying to find more efficient ways to hide the cords behind furniture and architecture which has taken a bit of ingenuity but I’m making headway. For instance I’ve changed the fireplace area at least 5 times so far and I think I’m going to do it again to have to hide the power cord that plugs into the wall… Pictured here is me trying to figure out how to run a cord from spotlight at the top of the roof down to the first floor and hide some wires behind the chimney.

I’ve decided to be a mini-electrician and add lighting to this Lego set which requires some dismantling and steady hands which I do not have. 😅

Listening to: Rob Zombie Hellbilly Deluxe (1998) This was the first of three rock albums I associate with Halloween because of their release during the season. Plus the subject matter on this first solo record by Zombie. I was 17 when this came out and those were formative years for my relationship with the holiday. This is the only glow in the dark vinyl I have because it’s so suitable. 🎃

Slowly working on this Lego set. The lore behind it is that a tree is growing through the house which has split it and causing the architecture to be crooked. An interesting thing is under the floor boards a mouse has store acorns and cheese and the only person that knows it’s there is you (the builder) because the floor is sealed up. That’s sort of a neat thing.
