WHAT IF…the Ohio media (Once Again) ran with the Acton campaign submitted legal files without corroborating or verifying them credible? Would not be the first time (Canfield Fair Incident). WHAT IF…Vivek’s campaign could rely on Ohio’s media publishing what they wanted at face value w/out corroboration and authoritative review? Two media standards - For 2 different campaigns.
Where’d you get the packet of information containing the legal files your team ran with, David? Do you want to own that the information came from the Acton campaign and that you and your team — not surprisingly — followed the Acton campaign narrative? Can you own those two things first? Then we can deal — like adults — with your reach here that the campaign ad introduced the sexual abuse of Amy Acton.

No, there isn't. Acton's team intentionally chose to put an SA case in the public spotlight — a case that, when it happened, involved minors — just to smear Ramaswamy. If protecting SA victims matters, then protect them across the board and have one standard. You can't cry foul about an ad that didn't say anything about Acton's alleged SA and then claim the press release and talking on air about minor SA victims in order to smear Ramaswamy is okay because "it's different." That's gross and intellectually dishonest.

I recall seeing the ad that you mentioned. I didn’t know who the guy was in the background. When it came out, I chalked it up to another swipe between campaigns and moved on. The ad with Amy’s Mom REALLY offended me. It was personal and slimy. There was a difference.

For the 400 people who asked me if the Ohio ad hurt the GOP ticket, the answer is no. I have reviewed today’s numbers. The top 27 counties in terms of turning out their 2024 presidential vote count remain Trump-won. There are 88 counties. Athens County, #28 ranked in this and the first blue county we find under this measure, fell from 25th yesterday. Summit County (Akron) falls from 61 to 63. Cuyahoga (Cleveland) is at 64. Lucas (Toledo), the key county for the new OH-9 boundaries, is at 69th. Hamilton (Cincinnati, OH-1) is at 71st. Franklin County (Columbus) falls from 69 to 77. Dead last we have Montgomery County, which has remained ranked dead last at 88 for the six days I’ve tracked this spreadsheet. It has 22,898 votes cast (12.2% of its 2022 Sen and 8.9% of its 2024 Pres). No, the advertisement didn’t do a damn thing.

The G.O.A.T blasts through all the noise and hits the mark below ⬇️.The media remains the rot in this country, picking who they destroy and who they protect. Until Republicans push back and expose these dishonest people and not cower, America cannot clean up its mess in government.
President Trump was asked why he’s defending Vivek’s ad: "I’m defending it because I know that if that ad were about MY mother, you would love it. You would LOVE every inch of it. And what’s happened is the press has teamed up, because he’s a Republican, and they’ve tried to make it like it’s a horrible thing. This is a mother saying very bad things about her daughter, and I don’t know why that should be shielded. The only problem is the press has decided to unify and act like it’s a horrible thing." "If Mary Anne MacLeod, my mother, Mary Anne MacLeod Trump said that about me, you’d have it as your number one story."

When this guy weighs in for Amy Acton, Republican base voters are reminded of the TRAINWRECK they have in store for Ohio. It’s not too late to send Mike DeWine and Amy Acton a CLEAR REJECTION MESSAGE at the polls. Vivek is going to sweep out the TRASH when he gets to Columbus. Voting is underway, Election Day is Nov 3rd!

DeWine lost my vote over COVID Lockdowns. So did Amy Acton. Then, DeWine facilitated TPS Haitians into Springfield, Ohio - until they became 25% of the city’s population! Then, he fought against ending TPS, along side of Kaisich. Neither of them are popular with Ohio residents and we don’t care what they say. I’m voting for Vivek Ramaswamy to: ➡️End the “administratively chosen” Sanctuary jurisdictions in Ohio. ➡️Prosecute Fraud! ➡️Eliminate or reduce our property &/or state taxes. None of the Noise matters to me.

The Media and Establishment Team Up Against Vivek to MASK 😷 Amy Acton’s Pattern of Lies: Ohio’s political world & nat’l media are rocked by an extraordinary ad in which the mother of the Dem candidate for governor publicly exposes her daughter’s false claims about her own origins and urges Ohioans not to vote for someone “who needs help.” The truth, however, is a documented pattern of deception & personal breakdowns that the Ohio media largely ignored while casting Vivek Ramaswamy as the villain. For more than a year, Vivek faced relentless lies, smears, and attacks on his ethnicity and business career with little media defense and no condemnation from Amy Acton. Her campaign, by contrast, was first to attack his mother, proudly posting libelous claims about her on its website. The Police Record- Acton’s problems did not end with a troubled childhood. They continued into adulthood. Police were called to her home twice, both times by her own daughter. In 2013, her daughter called because she feared her parents were about to get into a physical altercation. In 2019, an officer reported that Acton pulled a mirror off the wall and shattered it. Acton admitted to police that she had “been drinking” and had taken an unknown amount of prescription pills. She then attempted to drive under the influence of drugs and alcohol. A medic advised her to go to the hospital; she refused. At the time, she was Ohio’s top health official. Her campaign later dismissed the 2019 incident as a “simple argument.” Her running mate, David Pepper, said “someone” called the police omitting that it was her daughter. Unlike the childhood-trauma narrative Acton and her team embraced (which rests on unverifiable claims) that match 911 log and police report are public records. Ohio media has largely ignored them. The Media Double Standard- These incidents occurred in 2013 and 2019. Voters heard almost nothing about them until this year. The most damaging details including that her own daughter made both calls emerged through public-records requests, not mainstream reporting. Even after learning of the 2019 call, major outlets refused to cover the earlier incident. Ask yourself, if a male candidate’s child had called police on him twice, would the media have stayed this quiet? Everyone knows the answer. Instead of examining the police records, the press focused its energy on fact-checking Acton’s critics. Acton’s COVID Record- Amy Acton’s introduction to Ohioans as Public Health Director in March 2020 began with a major falsehood. She cited and aggressively promoted the discredited Imperial College London study that projected 2.2 million American deaths. 9 days later, when the study’s author, Neil Ferguson, drastically lowered his estimates, Acton did not correct the record, she doubled down. The consequences were severe: more than 1 million Ohioans filed for unemployment, and businesses that had survived for generations shut down permanently. During this period, five current and former state workers described her as emotionally volatile and sometimes absent from pandemic strategy meetings. In June ‘20, w/the crisis she helped fuel through exaggerated death projections, she resigned. When the situation became difficult, she walked away. In 2025 interviews, Acton continued to claim that the early COVID death rate was 50 percent. She has neither learned from NOR admitted her errors. Additional Incidents and Evasion Acton inflated the Canfield Fair confrontation to escape an unfavorable media cycle then stonewalled prosecutors- Her campaign claimed an armed man lunged at her. The local prosecutor said the man never got close and simply entered the tent intending to record video. That same prosecutor now says the Acton campaign is “ghosting” law enforcement and has not turned over the evidence. If she were the victim, why would she refuse to help the prosecutor? Bottom Line: Amy Acton is unfit for office.

Establishment Ohio Republican Governor DeWine and Democrat Amy Acton team up to take down Anti-Establishment candidate Vivek Ramaswamy ⬇️
OPEN LETTER TO GOVERNOR MIKE DEWINE By Jack Windsor Governor Mike DeWine (R-OH) called the Statehouse press corps to the Capitol Rotunda Thursday morning to tell Vivek Ramaswamy to take down his ad featuring Donna Arthur, the mother of Dr. Amy Acton. DeWine, per The Columbus Dispatch: “It was just wrong to run this ad.” And: “The ad on its face is deeply, deeply troubling but when you know the rest of the story, when you know the backstory, when you know that the husband of the mom was indicted by a grand jury after hearing testimony and that he took off along with the mother and that two children never saw the mother after that.” The Dispatch reports he said that after talking about his history as a county prosecutor defending child rape victims. He did not pull his endorsement of Ramaswamy. Governor, child victims deserve a protector who shows up every time. Not just when the victim served in your Cabinet. Dr. Acton is the Democrat nominee for governor and your former Ohio Department of Health director. She is a candidate. She has told her childhood story in public — she used it in the 2019 profile. Now, does that justify using her mom in a commercial? That’s a different discussion for a different day. But today, we need to talk about a legal standard, since you brought up your previous work as a prosecutor — equal justice under the law. In essence: we’re to have one standard, not two or many. The Acton campaign used sexual abuse as an attack on Vivek Ramaswamy. His campaign ran a property tax ad built around a woman named Patty Edwards, filmed at the Lorain County Fair. Her husband, Vernon Edwards, appeared in background footage. On Oct. 14, The Bulwark reported Vernon Edwards pleaded guilty in 2006 to gross sexual imposition involving a minor. The Ramaswamy campaign said it had no knowledge of his record and cut him from the ad. Then the Acton campaign went to work. Spokeswoman Addie Bullock: “Vivek Ramaswamy deliberately choosing to amplify a convicted pedophile is not only disgusting, it’s completely disqualifying.” On Oct. 16, the campaign published a release titled “Vivek Ramaswamy Airs Ad Featuring Convicted Child Sex Offender.” It quoted news reports that the victims were his nieces, under 13. Acton repeated the “convicted pedophile” line in interviews this week. Vernon Edwards is a private citizen. His case is 20 years old. His victims are children in his own family. The Acton campaign put that case, those victims and that family back in the headlines to smear Vivek Ramaswamy. Aren’t those also the victims you prosecuted for? Where was your call to take that down? Governor, here are my questions: Did you publicly object to the Acton campaign’s use of Vernon Edwards’ case and the children in his family? When and where? If not, tell Ohio why the line you drew Thursday morning covers a candidate and not the private citizens and children who never asked to have their abuse spotlighted in this race. _ _ _ Jack Windsor is founder and editor-in-chief of The Ohio Press Network and host of The Windsor Report on 98.9 FM The Answer.

Vivek Just Showed Ohio Conservatives the Only Real Choice: Stand for the Truth and Fight or Lose Ohio to the Mob For years, Ohio’s conservative voters have watched their leaders refuse to stand for the truth, push back against the left’s lies and intimidation, & fold at the first sign of political discomfort. The last 48 hours confirmed that pattern, with one critical exception (Vivek Ramaswamy) After a controversial ad in which Amy Acton’s own mother described her as a serial liar unfit to serve as governor, the Acton campaign, online supporters, and aligned media immediately constructed a deflection narrative. Rather than address the mother’s documented claims, they centered the story on character assassination, introducing the premise of sexual-abuse trauma in an apparent effort to discredit the mother and shut down further scrutiny of Acton’s record of dishonesty. W/in 24 hours, multiple Republican and conservative influencers surrendered to the media’s preferred framing & Acton’s victim narrative. They abandoned the core issue of her documented dishonesty and retreated from the all-too-familiar mob tactics of the left. Vivek Ramaswamy did not, he STOOD. He refused to retreat from a documented pattern of serial lying & deception evident throughout Amy Acton’s personal and professional life. While most conventional Republican politicians who claim they will fight fold once in office and distance themselves, Vivek doubled down. He understands that accepting the left’s false premise is not only dishonest, it is destructive to people’s lives. Regardless of what happened in Acton’s troubled past, that does not grant her a pass on what she did to Ohioans as Public Health Director during COVID or her patterns of character assassination of her opponent to include invoking his mother in a libelous claim. Multiple mental breakdowns by Acton and prior incidents in which police were called to her home for domestic issues involving alcohol and medication have been glossed over by the media. Ohioans lived with the consequences of her decisions during COVID, many fabricated on false assumptions, discredited studies and self projected driven-fear inducing panic as Ohio’s Public Health Director led her to abruptly quit her post breaking down in the height of the pandemic. For years, Ohio conservatives have complained that they lack a fighter willing to stand up for truth against the left’s intimidation tactics. Yet even now, some still struggle to recognize the fight when it appears. Vivek is doing battle on their behalf to keep his unstable opponent from ascending to the highest office in Ohio. Amy Acton’s retreat into a victim narrative, which her mother never addressed in the commercial, is yet another example of how the left and Acton use deflection, deception and lies to prevent Ohioans from fully understanding the extent to which her mental faculties, ability to serve, and integrity are deeply in question. Like the President and Vice President, who stood for the American people after years of neglect & abuse, Vivek correctly assessed the facts and stood for the truth. He pushed back against the left’s lies to send a clear message: we will not be silenced. We will not let Amy Acton’s unstable disposition or prior track record of shutting down our businesses, mask our children, closing our schools, canceling elections & limiting our ability to worship or gather under the approval of weak kneed Republicans happen again. In two weeks on Nov 3rd, long suffering conservatives have a generational opportunity to send a fighter to Columbus who JUST DEMONSTRATED he will not back down until ALL Ohioans quality of life improves and the problems neglected by feckless politicians are finally confronted. VIVEK IS THAT FIGHTER! The last 48 hours proved he will not take a knee and retreat when we need him to stand for us, he will double down, expose the lies and STAND FOR THE TRUTH! We need to take his lead to Fight! Fight! Fight!

I hate dirty politics and dragging opponents' families into the mud. When it comes to Amy Acton, nobody is discounting childhood trauma. Family mess decades later is deeply painful and hard to untangle. But let’s call this what it is: Her campaign is weaponizing that pain to cover up a blatant pattern of lying. Vivek Ramaswamy's leaked ad featuring her mom wasn't about abuse. It accused Amy of having a lifelong pattern of lying. So why did her campaign's response to the ad fail to address that issue? Maybe.. because her mom is right. Back in September, Amy and her team claimed an "armed man lunged at her, injuring multiple people" at a fair. Which led to her pushing for felony charges against the man. But even the prosecutor admitted that video evidence showed he wasn’t close to her, no weapon was drawn, and no major injuries could be seen. And speaking of moms, in August, her own campaign issued a press release directly attacking Vivek’s mother, claiming she helped manipulate clinical trial data. We have to be mature enough to hold two truths at once: we can have deep compassion for a child who suffered real family trauma and still demand basic honesty from a grown politician who wants to run our state.
Community note
Amy Acton's mother has not had contact with her daughter since 1978. Court records confirm she lost custody of her kids after a grand jury indicted her husband for repeatedly raping Amy. Acton's brother also confirmed Amy's story, including that they lived in a tent nationalreview.com/news/amy-acton… news5cleveland.com/news/politics/… instagram.com/reel/DeP_TXQSr…

Meanwhile, the leftist agitator man children have been released. Isn’t it ironic that Vivek is willing to go out openly and accessibly to engage voters respectfully and his opponent is hidden from public view or scrutiny and propped up under a victim narrative suggesting her consideration be based not on competence or record but on emotion, sympathy and feeling sorry for her troubled past. Why is she running for Governor, what are her plans and policies? Can we be assured she won’t quit the job as she did as Public Health Director? We won’t know because she won’t debate and her campaign, prohibits video and audio recording at any public event she attends. As voters we’ll never know b/c she and her surrogates demand special treatment devoid of scrutiny which the corporate media appear to oblige. 1 standard for Vivek - Another for Amy.
Vivek Ramaswamy’s first public appearance today didn’t go well:
