My latest piece, made from 5,956 painted wooden dowels and 5’ in diameter. Although I've created plenty of large-scale works over the years, most have been special commissions. This (and one other) are the 1st large pieces to be available in a gallery.

But let's pretend it was this easy.

After nearly 20 years of making and selling art, I've learned a lot from the people who've chosen to live with my work.
Buying art doesn't need to be as complicated as it can feel.
If you keep coming back to something, that's usually worth paying attention to.

Here's the finished landscape.
Part of this concept was imagining the kind of home I could see the piece living in before I even started making it. Those homes looked a little like these mockups.

5,087 pegs made it into the finished piece. 1,000+ others went in, came back out, and were replaced along the way.
I rebuilt the barn a few times, adjusted the mountains to create more separation, added trees, changed the path and kept working areas until it felt right.

This piece started with the idea of where I imagined it living; somewhere surrounded by mountains, wood, stone and incredible views, or simply a home inspired by that aesthetic.
I’m about halfway there. Stay tuned.

Couldn’t ask for a better setting for a work that changes with perspective. Love seeing how it can be experienced from so many different angles in its new home.

Sometimes you make a piece that's going to be a little harder to let go of. I've always had a soft spot for the cherry blossoms, and this one is definitely staying on my wall until someone convinces me otherwise.

A little while back, my friend @The_DotsToLines and I decided to combine our worlds.
He brought his signature geometry to the shape and drilling pattern. I brought the pegs, color, and dimensionality. Then we assembled the whole thing together.
